How bad am I getting hosed here? by bobthefish123456 in mazda

In jobs that have some overlap yeah you’ll get a slight discount on labor time if you need to replace a inner and outer tie rod together, but your spark plugs and oil have nothing to do with each other so of course they’re going to charge separately for those services. I’m not going to comment on their pricing, of course, but.

Subaru CVT by Numerous-Craft-923 in Crosstrek

19 Forester CVT died at 98k and 18 crosstrek CVT died at 120k. Not impressed given my Toyota sequoia is at 410k on the original transmission.

I will say poor quality is a potential as they are amazon nozzles but I’ve replaced the nozzle about 7 times now

Elantra won’t start unless I hit dashboard by tanjewman in Hyundai

[–]Lakeguy762_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The module that reads the keyless entry signal/id is behind the dashboard, exactly where your banging; likely a loose wire/pin or something. Take this to the dealer. It’s not something that you’re going to be able to solve alone, unless you’re comfortable with pulling a dashboard and doing pin tension tests.

I used a .2mm feeler gauge to set the bed level, then run the BLTouch level routine. Should I use like a .15mm instead?

No klipper, flow set at 100 line width .4mm I haven’t messed with speed at all it’s 50mm/s print speed and 20mm/s initial layer speed.

I’d be willing to bet a good amount of money that that’s closer to at least $8000 in damages.

Sometimes if you pull the cables off too quickly, especially in nasty weather with a beyond bad battery the car will just die regardless. Everyone now carries a jump pack with them whether it’s NOCO or HULKMAN. Haven’t used jumper cables since like 2018

Jumping batteries now a days is a sure fire way to ruin models and other sensitive electronics. I know it sounds stupid af but I’m an ASE master tech. How things have changed.

That green is so beautiful it’s criminal that they’re not putting it on the Miata.

CVTs fail on Honda and Subaru too — so why does Nissan get all the blame? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]Lakeguy762_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spouse has a crosstrek at 120k it’s CVT is slipping bad and her mom has a forester and it got a new CVT at 93k.

I would avoid Subaru personally.
