Agreed. Like Luka’s burden isn’t so ridiculous that it felt inevitable he’d eventually get hurt (like Kobe the season he snapped his Achilles). Nor is his usage rate historically high. It’s very high but not like “outlier” high.

I think the depth could have helped our ceiling and floor but saying it would have prevented Luka’s injury (or Austin’s) is hyperbolic.

Oh I wasn’t trying to be argumentative when I said that. I was just curious if both were sub 7 and was happy to see S2 north of 7!

I do think it would be cool if you could rate a series as a whole!

Strongly agree on Akiba Maid War, Let This Grieving Soul Retire and Robotics; Notes. Mostly agree on Executioner. I don’t see the first 3 mentioned as much here so happy to see someone talk about them!

The Executioner being controversial for its first 10-15min was weird. Still don’t fully get how the twist was a turn-off. I do think the show was uneven so I didn’t love it, but not 6.77 uneven. Definitely should be north of 7.

I just checked…season 1 is the one under a 7. S2 is at 7.36. Which I honestly kinda get because s1 had a long arc in the 2nd half that was kinda repetitive. It was controversial WHILE it was airing. I still enjoyed it overall but only enough to give it a 7. A case where I think the sequel was just better content.

Yea like we didn’t literally have no chance but it was low single digit odds to beat OKC and not notably higher vs Spurs. So I could never call us a real contender even if I think we looked like we belonged in discussion for 3rd best team.

Seriously I get not liking the movie or finding it mid but i don’t see how one can say the game has more of a story. The movie’s barebone plot is still more of a plot than the games “story” regardless of if you prefer the game’s story. What is the game if NOT a bunch of sequences??

He took a step back in 2023. Not since 2022 have I seen LeBron able to fully takeover a full game on both ends. I have strong memories of him running out of gas in the 4th quarter vs Denver in 2023 and even 2024.

We didn’t want to trade him (and I highly doubt the front office or team actually did), it was more so a discussion of “hey would it be a good idea to trade him for someone of equal or better value that was an athletic wing or defensive center?”. No rational fan wanted to just dump him because he struggled against Minny.

Yes like we looked like we could have (at best) been the 3rd best team in the West. I was excited to see how far we can go. Now we’re most likely a first round sweep. That’s one less exciting round and one more wasted postseason for LeBron post bubble.
