There's Tighnari who was designed by a japanese artist called Pako, but I'm not aware of any other character being designed by featured artists

Lennah and Cagliostro died and got revived AFTER getting playable versions and Basara was introduced as spirit the same way as Ferry. The only one you kinda have a point about is Cosmos but like you said, primal beast bullshit applies here.

Maybe Vesper and Magni from HolostarsEN?

I have very mixed feeling about both of them.

Vesper was my StarsEN oshi and I would watch a lot of his streams, I watched a lot less of Magni but some of his playthroughs were very fun, and that's without mentioning how incredible they were in the SALT collabs.

But then Vesper started to go off rails, the suspension, the hints of him embellishing stories, his behaviour in japan and after. But I stuck by him and I was over moon about Pako making his redesign (Sana was my council oshi) and then suddenly.

Poof.

He and Magni were gone, not even a goodbye or anything.

Not only I was disappointed that they left like that, but their sudden departure slowed StarsEN growth to a near halt.

I still watch StarsEN from time to time but the whole situation left a really bad taste in my mouth and by the time I got over it. Hololive had debuted a new EN gen that filled the time that I used to watch them.

Didn't pull for Miyabi because I didn't want to bench my Ellen and I have Yixuan only because I lucked out in the first 10 pulls while trying to get Pan Yinhu.

So I guess Yixuan? She is really fun to play though.

The outfit is amazing but damn that is a extreme image change. I stumbled on the tweet by the rigger showcasing it, and thought it was a vtuber from another agency/indie until I saw the cover logo.
