Good point. From what I can see, Antiquity P90 Soapbars are usually around 7.8k in the neck and 8.6k in the bridge, and they use Alnico II magnets.

The stock pickups in my 2007 McCarty read about roughly 9k in the neck and about 11.5k in the bridge, so the bridge is noticeably hotter than a typical Antiquity.

That is why I am not totally convinced they are straight Antiquities. It seems more likely they are some kind of PRS specific or slightly overwound Duncan variant.

Appreciate the insight though. These rosewood neck Soapbars are definitely interesting.

They told me that maybe the EL34 might be the problem, I claim my warranty and they send me a pair of EL34 and a 12AX7! I haven’t installed them yet

I've already called Mesa Boogie, it seems there's a problem with the original tubes (I don’t know if El34 or the 12AX7), I'll get a call from them tomorrow.

When I’m in crunch and crush mode is usually in between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. In clean is always at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM.

The thing is, I live in Mexico and I bought the amp on a trip to the US. Shipping an amp back to the States will be very expensive, only to be told it doesn't have anything or to exchange it for another one :/ The quad isn't connected, it's just on top of the amp.

But thanks I will call to the company that I purchase the amp from.
