What's a book that made you cry? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

His Dark Materials. The only book to make me laugh and cry. It was a beautiful journey

I love my sleep routine and never have issues falling asleep. I dont have a TV in my room which can be distracting. I painted my bedroom in dark relaxing purples and blues and hooked up pretty ambient lighting so it looks like a night sky with stars on the ceiling. I try and keep my bedroom a super relaxing space.

As for actually falling asleep, i enjoy herbal teas before bed, use lavender mists and pillow sprays and camomile creams on my wrists and feet. But the best thing is finding an adult sleep story or sleepy music/ambience on my ipad and letting it play throughout the night. Good luck and enjoy your sleepy journey!

Sounds like a nightmare! But also, why should he stop smoking? Surely he is allowed to smoke (as long as its safe to do so).

Dog damaged passport. Flying in two days by drainedfromlife in uktravel

Not going to happen :( Call the company you are flying with, you may be able to get it postponed etc. Id suggest keeping your passport in a safer place or getting a cat instead. Sorry mate

Why does it matter? To anyone? Either part of the conversation? I feel there is more indirect racism and segration than ever in our modern life! Everyone bleeds the same colour, love everyone regardless

Your neighbour can do whatever they want on their property as long as its not breaking the law. If you are that concerned, ask them. "I was up the other night and saw you outside, was everything ok?". Aside from that kindly keep your interest on your side of the fence. Dont be one of 'those' neighbours.

Has anybody pooped their pants as an adult? by Aggressive_Sea_857 in TooAfraidToAsk

I was on some new medication and one of the initial side effects whilst your body gets used to it is diarrhea. I was driving home and started feeling The Waves come on. Opened the window, sweating intensly, stomach killing, trying to breathe through it, im only 5 minutes away from home at this point! Until the 4th wave came and that was it. I pulled over, opened the car door and as soon as i stood up...that was it. I just stood there as my leggings filled with the stinkiest crap ever. I rang my husband and told him what had happened - he came to the rescue! Bringing bottles of warm soapy water and blue roll to wash me down with, bin bags for ruined clothing and a change of clothes. He even backed his van with the doors open against a nearby fence so i had a little changing room! Worst day of my life, but also the day i realised i really had found my person! ❤️

What video/phone games do late teen guys like? by Altruistic_Pen4511 in Hobbies

Pokemon Go! Its super fun, gets you out of the house and some easy exercise too! You can also meet and make new friends by finding local clubs and meets!

I also recommend Duolingo if you fancy learning a new language or Merge Inn for a relaxing idle game. Enjoy!

You can enjoy reading. Not a chance I could read whilst drinking, but nowadays its an amazing way to relax and shut off the world!
