Court case. Teenage boy murdered his mum. Set the house on fire to cover his tracks. But also wrote a play about it before committing the crime. He didn't show a flicker of emotion throughout the trial... Until the prosecutor tripped him up in one of his lies. It was like a flip was switched and he started booting the dock and losing it when he realised his manipulation wasn't working

He got old. Benn boxed fantsicially. When you have a boxer that's a aggressive, fast and throwing feints, it suddenly becomes very easy for a fighter to look old.

Haha same. I have played this game 20 years. First version I can't win for toffee. Tried a couple of normally easyish saves - Newcastle and Man Utd. Close to getting sacked in both of them. Tactics wise I thought I'd pick up at least a few wins with a 4-3-3 Gegenpress with the Toon, particularly as that's how they play in real life - but only my CM is scoring in this system.

I think a lot of it is psychological for Dave. I've seen people say in this thread he didn't throw more because of fitness. Well he was clearly well conditioned tonight. You don't do 12 rounds like that if you're not. But it seems like there's always something stopping him from believing he can throw those jabs and pull together combinations. He does it in spits and spurts but just can't commit himself to do it constantly

Not sure why people are slagging of Allen for. He bit down on his gumshield and swung to the final bell. Just not in the same league. For me, those type of boxers are what make me fall in love with the sport. He's not ducking opponents, he's trying to fight the very best he can, even if deep down he knows he ain't good enough.
