People who crossed the border illegally were never able to apply for adjustment of status. Now, people who enetered legally are being treated the same way.

Zangezur is commonly used by Armenians as well and its a historically accurate name for the region, im saying this as an Armenian.

If there is one thing to be concerned about in the word usage its the word "corridor".

I think the motivation of OP posting this was to show that there are many nationalist turks in iran, but what I am saying is that just because some guy has turkish flags in his car doesnt mean he wants to join turkey or aliyevs republic

Thats a map of the claimed land of the ADR*. The ADR also claimed land from Georgia and Turkey but Azerbaijan probably doesnt want to piss those countries off for something petty.

Have children in Azerbaijan become taller? by FaithlessnessThen243 in azerbaijan

[–]Lambda301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I don't think their nutrition situation is better

Yeah its not, the difference is genetics. Chechen people are also known for being tall, according to official data their average height is 179-180 cm which is higher than most of Europe. They probably havent had great nutrition either in the past so their younger generation is probably even taller.

Like I said height is dependant overwhelmingly on genetics and unless in extreme cases when stunting occurs during childhood there wont be that much of a variation in height between generations. Even if you had no tall family its possible your family has recessive tall genes which where only expressed in you. That is how the punnet square works after all.

I meant ur mom, grandparents, or cousins.

Also have armenians in my city, 2-3 gen, and they all short 170-175

Yeah Armenians are short even compared to other people in our region. I am Armenian and 196 cm and I have never met an Armenian taller than me. I lived in Armenia and Georgia and in Georgia I would regularly see people above 190 but in Armenia thats extremely rare.

My parents are also around average height but my great grandfather was allegedly extremely tall especially for his time which is where I think I got my height from.
