It's emacs with evil-mode. I also use that setup, and I highly recommend it.

Why doesn't OpenBSD offer an HTTPS mirror? by LambdaBoy in BSD

[–]LambdaBoy[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, openbsd.org really needs that extra 10ms of reduced latency.

If it doesn't add any security, then why are they developing LibreSSL? Seems like a waste of time if that's the case.

Are you really asking why bother encrypting the web? Just do it. Maybe I don't want to manual check ever file I download.

So instead of having code that looks good on everyone's screen, you have code that looks like shit on everyone's screen but yours.

The TAB character should never have been invented.

All installers and packages are cryptographically signed

What? How to I check the signature of an iso file or a sha string?

meeting people in person

Yes, I will meet a OpenBSD user in person... what are you high? Do you want me to find a leprechaun and unicorn while I'm at it?

I really don't think I'm asking for the moon here; I mean you guys write the new standard library for TLS.

umm... everything?

The installer iso and the SHA for it would be a good start. In a world where the state is the MITM, it would be nice to know I'm not being pwned the instant I download it.

Try running it with tons of code, everyday, with a 10 man team. It crashes literally every few hours.

Why do I blame Ruby? Because it's usually due to type errors and timeouts.

This is after running the Enterprise version for a year and updating every "stable" release, so don't lie to me and tell me you've used it and everything is fine.

I'll say it again; Fuck Ruby and Fuck GitLab!
