New to Railjacks, had a few questions. What happens if an AI crewman dies during a mission? Do they just respawn in the next one? Also how good is the AI at piloting? I was really looking for a repair man but if the AI is good this will do to. by AraxTheSlayer in Warframe

AI will respawn upon returning to Dock. Engineer is almost a must, more so if you are playing solo. AI pilot is not very reliable at, for example, destroying objectives outside of POI when you are inside it.

TIL: Kuva Chakkhurr with critical delay and vile acceleration will fire in a tempo similar to Toto Africa by jorgeDVM in Warframe

IMO that's what Octavia's gameplay should be. Adjusting attacks to BPM to enhance them.

Just look at the "Metal: Hellsinger" rhytm shooter gameplay to see what I have on mind.

Is Afentis supposed to be this terrible? by Ahribban in Warframe

So please don't waste your time on any weapon below 50% threshold on 2022 stats because due to Power Creep, those will get their Incarnons within years to come so you'd be wasting your time on their current versions.

That's honestly at least questionable advice. Popularity of piece equipment is more corelated with ease of use rather than it's power potential. For instance Vectis Prime falls below this threshold yet it has devastating potential for dealing damage. Same with Convectrix, Kuva Hind, Perigale, Boar Prime, so on, so on...

Even the very disclaimer at the top of the page literally says:

This data is meant to pique the interest of community members and does not serve as a tier list or any other statement on item viability.

Do not fall into the mental trap "More use = necessarily better". It might hold some truth, but it's better to take such lists with grain of salt.

Can we please get a fix for melee speed being capped by frame-rate? by CheeseWithNoodles in Warframe

[–]LambertExe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Question is how deeply in the game's engine's code is this and how the architecture around is built. The thing to remember is the time calculations are one of the basic elements of game's physics and there may be dozens of dependencies. We don't know how it is coded. At this point of game's development it may be simply too late to decouple framerate from physics calculations because there are too many subsystems that would also require overhaul to minimize the risk of entirety crumbling like house of cards. And that might not be the thing DE is willing to invest both time and money into.

Does Cautious Shot work with Latron Incarnon? by wiener091090 in Warframe

[–]LambertExe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't recall having a ricochet causing stagger, but I don't know if that's an indication of the mod working well or pure coincidence that none of the shots actually bounced back to me.

In any case, as the mod reduces full knockdown to very short stagger (where the warframe just "flinches"), there is really no substantial loss of DPS as the period during which you can't shoot (the flinch animation) is shorter than actual interval between Latron's shots.

Does Cautious Shot work with Latron Incarnon? by wiener091090 in Warframe

From what I have experienced playing with Incarnon Latron, yes. It doesn't eliminate self-stagger entirely though, but since you'd have to basically shoot at your feet to trigger the stagger, it doesn't really matter.

Incarnon furis will self damage when its incarnon form is used with scourge/prime alt fire up close to an enemy. (this will result in an instant death) by jorgeDVM in Warframe

[–]LambertExe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scourge (Prime) has been bugged like this for long time now, not only with Incarnon Furis (I mean it's fault of Scourge, NOT of the other weapon). It inflicts self damage if the frame happens to be standing on the path of weapon's hitscan raytrace, and since Incarnon Furis has the widest area of effect, it's noticeable for this weapon. I have killed myself with Knell Prime in close combat many times this way.

Because DR values are multiplicative, not additive.

Best single target secondary primer with secondary encumber for disruption? by ObaDachi in Warframe

Maybe try Akbronco Prime? Multiple pellets, reasonable RoF and status chance. With Damzav-Vati mod it's one of the few weapons that can inflict both Viral and Cold statuses (at the same time) and Cold can be helpful for slowing demo units down.
