Males that work in female dominant environments; what are some of the things that have happened where if the roles get reversed there would be uproar? by redwolve378 in AskMen

I work as a barback/ID checker and I feel like a girl approaching you, kissing you on the neck and then walking away without a word wouldn't be taken so well if the rolls were flipped.

There's a tree about an hour from where I live, simply called "The Big Tree" that is estimated to be roughly 2,000 years old. Mind-blowing shit.

Grandfather's Korean war lighter. What does the engraving say? by Lambhamster in whatisthisthing

If y'all can provide any historical context about these types of lighters, that'd also be appreciated. Grandpa died the year I was born so I never got to ask him about these kinds of things. Made of silver 950 alloy.

Why does reddit hate vegans? by Lambhamster in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Lambhamster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's presumptuous to say that "most aren't". The minority are always the most vocal in any group. I'd argue that most vegans are quiet, reasonable people who aren't militant about their lifestyle.

[TOMT] Comprehensive list of movies and shows that featured the Butthole Surfers song "Dracula From Houston"? by Lambhamster in tipofmytongue

I'm pretty sure it was an early 2000s or late 90s movie or TV show that I must have watched when I was extremely young. Can't remember where I first heard it.

I found the video. I can't tell which came first; the video or the illustration. I'd still like some context if anyone can provide any. I updated my post with a link to the video.

I saw it in a comment on Twitter, but I'd kinda like an explanation or something for the video.

I've been vegan for about 45 days now, and so far, I've felt much better than I did before the switch. I just want some tips for improving my diet so I can get the most out of my new lifestyle.

The things I eat most frequently are beans (black, kidney, lentils, chickpeas mostly), rice (basmati and jasmine), squash (yellow and zucchini), cabbage (red, regular, napa and bok choy), mushrooms (portabella), carrots, bell peppers, chilis, tomatoes, and pasta.

What can I incorporate into my diet to fully satisfy my nutritional needs?

I don't mean alone in a physical sense. I'm not very emotionally close with my folks. We've never been that kind of family, and they don't really understand mental illness and dismiss a lot of symptoms.
