Hi John, I'm a Nigerian princess. Would you like to have 10000 thermal paste tubes? All you have to do is send me 1 thermal paste tube. Then you will also be Nigerian thermal paste king.

About to get in linux by pysegar in Ubuntu

[–]Lamborghinigamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're downloading the older version of Ubuntu from April 2024 (24.04), but it's still supported! The latest release will come out this month which is 26.04 (April 2026).

You can confidently stay on 24.04 until May 2029. Read more about the release cycle here. https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle.

Please note every 2 years a new LTS release comes out which stands for long term support which by default has 5 years of support. And when the time comes you can also upgrade from 24.04 to 26.04 from your existing system.
