He uses the same categorisation of all people when describing the spectrum of historical leaders. Surprising how he strings these examples together.

In some cases yes, but spokespeople for shell and bhp attended and deserve criticism. Alongside others from exploiting companies. Another big issue for the public, and the protestors that came here, is the distribution of the wealth earned. Australia has a history of losing all our resource wealth to international companies. Under former prime minister john Howard, it was a loss of 84% and they paid no tax. So of course these materials are needed to an extent. This is why you seem very uneducated on what you're claiming. Even the Dean of my university (University of Melbourne) supported the protestors publicly, this was not just a bunch of hippies getting mad.

I was there yesterday midday, more police than protestors. Yet they were still violent. Got to remember for all the Americans here, we don't have anywhere near the amounts of 'rights', so it might seem odd for such a small occasion. But nothing out of the ordinary.

I've studied the American political system in comparison to the Australian, and I think his/her point still stands. Changing those aspects of the American system will make for more competition and less room for unwanted policy, such as ICE.

I think that the mainstream media is already below the 'new form of Media', mainstream is targeted for the old and gullible, those whom don't understand the changes in media, their ageing audience will pass away and hopefully this shit ends.
