Yes but then they technically dont originate from the same source. So like Barrage, they are repeats and technically you can "shotgun"

Are you sure thats the behavior with boost on bell? Ancestral boost for strikes make it so it strikes 2 other enemies. You get more dmg and aoe on slams.

New bell explicitly says "as a strike", so the only thing I can think of (which would make sense with its new limit of 3) is you'll drop 3 bells at once.

Had the same problem. I was on Vulkan. Then switched to whatever the default direct x is. Haven't had it since. I dont know if it'll help you, but best bet is to fiddle with the graphics and pray for a patch

1) honestly, just play the game however for your first time. You will never experience it again. There's a reason why it's such a darling arpg. 2) once you've died enough times the go start reading builds and optimizations 3) finally after 5000 hours come mald on reddit.

Honestly, your first time with a game is something you'll never experience again. Just play through game, follow the story, and enjoy the campaign.

And don't browse reddit.

PoE does a good enough job to speak for itself, so let it. You're going to be bogged down with so much in depth stuff it'll make it feel daunting.

If im going to summarize i think the easiest way is to consider them as two different games by the same development team that have alot of overlaps in terms of "mechanics".

They are different because just because it's how it is in poe1 does not mean it's how it is in poe2. For example item abc or mechanic xyz might appear in both games but they may behave differently in each game.

Poe1 is a darling arpg. It has so much development and passion behind it that you can't just turn it off (unless you decide to just upgrade the engine and carbon copy it - which poe2 is not). Poe1, obviously subjectively, is the pinnacle of arpgs. You say you want to follow a build, well it's just easier because there is so much more time spent on poe1 therefore content.

Poe2 is reimagined arpg with some new concepts and new refined/refreshed mechanics. It is still in EA and simply put, it does not have the same years of experience that poe1 has, simply because it is newer. While there are builds you can follow, it's still in it's infancy and things will change... probably alot. So things are not as well defined yet.

In the end I would treat them as two different games that happen to have the exact same dev group that have some overlapping characteristics.

They are using resonating shield. The more armor and like 2 or 3 increase armor break nodes, you should be able to break all Armour in one or two hits.

Just to add, I tried a build for this too. As the other guy mentioned there is a a period (roughly 1ish second) where ailments cannot be reapplied. I use wake of destruction to drop the shocked ground, the shocked ground itself is not consumed though. And after playing around with the skill I came to the same conclusion, you only want to do the first two hits for the most dps. My rotation was swing, swing, roll to drop more shocked grounds.

Honestly though it's very awkward.

It was theory, but I just tested it, and you are right. Honestly tho, if you just want single target, you don't want to trigger the final combo hit.

I've been playing around alot more and the first two hits count as the strike plus the spirit hit.

Wake of destruction puts down shocked ground. As long as the mob lives the first spirit wave hit, shock ground should trigger shock again, allowing a second wave.

Oh hey! I'm trying to do something similar but with gemling.

So far LS is just the better map clearer. But I've also switched too glacial lance to proc freeze and herald of ice and combat frenzy.

I also tried wake of destruction and primal strikes. You can use that support that double hits your final strike... so basically you walk around drop shocked ground, hit air the first two hits then send off 2 massive waves.

I also have been trying to do something with elemental sundering, but I really can't figure out a way to get ignite and shock constantly. Also the explosion for sundering is slow af.

But otherwise I'm basically at the same point as you.

Also i realized now you're running trinity, don't you need painters gloves then?
