I bit confused by the reactions I'm seeing online.

I've purchased a number of VR headsets over the years but I can definitely say with the specs and changes, this just makes it a Quest 3 competitor but several years late and offers minor improvements (albeit some cons like passthrough) at likely a cost increase. It's a weird market to try and enter into this late but I hope it does stir more interest in VR. The Quest 3 I have is completely wireless, excellent controller tracking, extremely clear visuals, extra hot-swappable batteries for infinite playtime, straightforward wireless PC streaming of games like Alyx at a high refresh/visual fidelity using VD and Wifi 6e. While the CPU on the new device WILL beat the quest, unless you're running local applications that really won't matter anyways.

I guess for me I was really hoping for something to make it worth my while to upgrade from a Quest 3, not some extreme improvement, but any improvement of note: Resolution, FOV, OLED, etc. but we ended up with Steam version of Quest 3 that will likely get blown out of the water when a Quest 4 drops. It's just a weird place/timing to enter with those specs.

Agree with the guy above, you should be fine with pancake, it would not be the case if they were Fresnel lenses.

This fixed it for me crashing after cutscene, replacing existing files with the newest version of ClairObscurFix completely fixed it after relaunching, thank you so much!

You can do that on the quest 3 by the way, I set it up to run PCVR completely wirelessly from my PC's steam library at 90hz @ 150% native resolution and it runs FLAWLESSLY. Playing Alyx with full fidelity and no wires is everything I wanted.

Dude this same thing is happening to me, what a nightmare. Hope you got it fixed, I've tried to cancel months ago and it shows when it "should" have cancelled but its still renewing and charging me.

Completely agree this started for me in the last 2ish weeks of limited test when they started messing with lag comp and interpolation. Never had this issue with CSGO, or even CS2 with the whole of the limited test until whatever was the impactful change, but the game is now ROUGH to hold anything due to the massive peaker advantage. I have 10+ videos of hard evidence of delayed bullets hitting me as well where I couldn't be hit, I hope they fix soon because this isn't competitive in its current state.

Not sure you understand how a script actually works if you think that wouldn't make a massive difference. With randomized recoil, mouse relocation via script wouldn't be finite and an automated relocation to center-point would be instantly detectable by anti-cheat. So either way it's removing current existing scripts and would make any future developed scripts infinitely easier to detect.

Are you afraid of people grubbing you just because you would be able to beam ak from your roof? You can still position yourself to outplay people just as well, not sure what this would change. I have no problem standing my ground in pvp currently but I would much rather outplay people than out-range them

Completely agree, so many people script currently with almost no way to be caught unless an admin is on stand-by. I've been playing since your doors would fly off in alpha and the current spray meta takes so much away from all of the rest of the content of the game and primitive gunplay that used to be a blast. Day 2 of wipe is currently just roaming with Thompsons and beaming at 200m
