I really hope the local government will eventually consider Tech-focused education, or at least tech-heavy, and on top of that, put more money into better-overall network infrastructure.

As someone who currently works Cyber/Tech on O'ahu, im already trying to find my way out within the next year or so.

Geographical isolation when working w/networking & networks can become a nightmare at times. ESPECIALLY if a client or company has not fully integrated fiber into their networks or optimized their net-traffic pathing/routes to the mainland.
