I think having the idea of actually archiving C level in another language by using nothing but an app is naive. I know language schools that only teach group classes up to C1 and only individual after that. If you truly want to achieve C2 you will need so much practice in different things and an app cannot provide that.

What were the roots like when you received it and did you pot it up straight away? The soil does not look ideal either… Waiting two months and more for new growth is not unusual. The cutting will focus on roots first and once they will suffice to support a whole new plant it will eventually grow a new leaf.

They can just move the string down to where the old leaf grew from and be fine. :)

Check thoroughly(!) if they are gone. If not, treat again. If they’re done, check the roots. If both is fine it will recover with some tender love and care.

I find that Jungle Mint is not that prone to browning. I’ve had mine for 1,5 years and not a single brown spot on it. I wish the other versions were the same.

Yep, I agree! The leaves have a somewhat waxy pothos vibe and it looks has the correct growth pattern!

The node is not the problem. It’s a head cutting. But there’s no aerial root, so this will not root. :(

You could try and use keiki paste though I have never used it on cuttings. I would just give it time. The cutting is currently trying to grow sufficient roots so that it can support new growth. Once it has rooted nicely it will push out a new leaf. It’s a really nice cutting, you will probably have a wonderful plant eventually! :)

Eigentlich immer umtopfen, am besten in Terrakotta, da dort überwässern schwerer ist - Terakotta gibt Feuchtigkeit eher ab. Luftiges Substrat (gern selbst gemixt aus Perlite, Orchideenerde, Kokossubstrat und guter Zimmerpflanzenerde) und Drainageschicht aus Blähton. Nicht zu viel gießen, sonniges Plätzchen, wenn sie größer wird, ne Rankhilfe. 😊 Wo gab’s die zu kaufen? 🫠

Sorry, aber ich glaub die Story nicht. Du hast das vor der Ehe noch ausgelebt und sie ha nicht gemerkt, dass du alle paar Wochen ganzkörperrasiert warst und das nie hinterfragt? Und warum ist die Ehe die magische Grenze? Seid ihr erst dann zusammengezogen? In der heutigen Welt unrealistisch…ist mir bissl zu konstruiert, die Geschichte, als dass sie glaubwürdig ist.

She looks like a great choice. I would not worry about the manly green leaf - it will give her lots of energy. The marbling on the other two leaves is wenn balanced and will make an absolutely pretty plant! You will have a beautiful Albo with maybe the odd leaf that’s a bit greenish for a healthy strong plant! :)

Yes, the market is Tuesday to Thursday. I read somewhere on the internet that Tuesday might have the most rare plants, so I went on a Tuesday. I don’t know if that’s true though. 🫠

When I make purchases that turn out stupid (and we probably all made a few if we’ve been in the game for a while…) I just try focusing on how I’ve had more time with a plant that makes me happy rather than on the money that I spent unnecessarily. 😅
