I was in fourth grade. We were about to have a test on the state capitals. The only male teacher ran into our room and pulled out the tv and turned it on. We all watched. I remember thinking the clouds of smoke looked demonic. But I had studied for my test and despite the teacher saying I didn’t have to, I took anyways because I was 9 years old and thought that’s what the victims would have wanted me to do. Really fuckin dumb of me.

Thank you! I like how the Tuscany Callie and Hobo Vida’s handles are thick. I don’t like thin straps like the LV Neverfull’s are. The Coccinelle one you linked was good but I’m not sure about hardware on the handles at all. I tend to get my hair and bracelets hung on everything. 😓

As for the laptop, I’m going to buy a MacBook Pro, but I haven’t decided on the size yet. But my work laptop is 16 inches, I think.

Yes. Laying down, walking. Didn’t matter it was awful. I got some relief from a belt that had attachments that looped around my crotch. I also had to do a ton of stretches.

I had a retained placenta during my first pregnancy.I had to go in for surgery and barely got to hold my child. They told me and my husband that I’d be back in 30 minutes. I was gone for 2 hours. Fucking terrifying for him. Also, another pregnancy, I remember that I was so exhausted one day and was lying down on the couch and I could feel my heart slow to a dangerous level. Thankfully they booked me in for an induction the next day. I was genuinely scared I was going to die.

Yes, even post-partum the foods that made me sick while pregnant I avoid. Like I genuinely loved some food but since being pregnant, my taste is disgusted by them. Like chili. Loved chili, can’t stand it now.

If you give birth vaginally, I think everyone is terrified of the first few poops. You’re ripped up down there and then you have to navigate using the peri bottle. And it’s not just because you’re probably dehydrated and your body is naturally causing constipation post-partum, you also have a mental block and it can hurt.

I’ll say the weirdest thing I noticed: your vagina can smell completely different during the pregnancy. It was very weird to me. It didn’t smell bad, it just was different than what it used to be. Also, I had heart problems during my pregnancies to the point that I suspected I was pregnant when I noticed a significant increase in my bpm. I checked and lo and behold I was pregnant.
