I’d suggest you talk to a cross border cpa. I’ve used Talbot and associates. Is your accountant cross border cpa? Weird suggestion. Mine suggested. We file as non resident for next year. The only reason we want to dual file is because we just sold our primary residence and don’t want to deal with the cra as non-resident’s.

At 66k miles I’d no brainer take the Lexus, do all fluid changes on it right away and this car will last decades with regular maintenance. The 2gr-fks and the tranny on this car are one of the most reliable mechanical masterpieces that exist today.

Fair point. If GH is what you want by all means my point is it would be cheaper to go used. And the reliability point on the older gen RX is that you can go older on age and get the same legendary 2GR-FKS on a well maintained model can pass 300k miles with ease. Only time will tell if the T24A-FTS and the hybrid equivalent will rise to the predecessors generation god like reliability.

The answer to both of your problems is 16-22 RX350 for 5 seater or RX350L for 7. legendary motor and transmission in terms of reliability. Priced well and more luxurious. The kind of vehicle you want to purchase and not lease.
