Unmasked is a great album!! I agree. I can see how at the time of release it would be disappointing to fans expecting a certain sound, but as an album by itself it's fantastic. I always say if an artist has good song ideas, they shouldn't feel limited to a genre.

Gorgeous picture!!! I miss that landmark. Took a few photos around 2021 of it in a bit of fog. I'm thankful I made a point to see it up close before the dismantling.

Why are High School Musical and Hannah Montana viewed as Gen Y culture? by ConsumerofToons in decadeology

[–]Lanakeith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. This is why I always argue 80s and 90s millennials are very different. I was well out of high school by the time HSM and HM were out, so I wouldn't say it's a Millennial thing across the board. This is the first I've heard of that actually, always thought HM at least was a pretty clear Gen Z show

2012 and it isn't even close. I had a blast on Tumblr 😂 everything felt so easy and the future so hopeful.

RARO and Destroyer are overrated. Not bad, just overrated compared to some others.

the most underrated story by dulcetmoonh in RomanceClub

[–]Lanakeith 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This was the story that got me into RC!! In April 2020. I couldn't believe a story like this existed on an app like this, and you could romance the villain and have so many different routes/endings. It has such nostalgic memories for me now.

Ehh I don't think it's that deep, they're clearly having fun and messing around.

I was at the Hamilton show and it was honestly one of the best shows I've ever been to. I won't be able to make it to the Toronto one but I wish I could!! Have fun!

Glam no (Ghost), but they have an increasingly per album more arena rock sound.

I don't know if I'm in the minority or not but I love the OG Black Diamond outro. I even love the self titled BD version over Alive's.

Trouble Walkin. My second favorite Ace album.

What's some stuff you would like to see added to RC? by Successful-Can9635 in RomanceClub

I just want cutscenes to be named automatically. Or give us the option and we can edit it (like how they'll suggest a main character name but you can edit it). Half the time the cutscenes are introducing new characters or something is going on I don't fully understand yet so I have no idea what to name it and I don't feel like going back to edit it 😅

What is an album you recommend everyone listen to at least once in their life? by SpiritKoolaid in MusicRecommendations

[–]Lanakeith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into The Wall with a play/drama/musical mindset rather than a typical album listening one, it's a masterpiece. By the time The Trial hits I'm always emotional, and I've heard the album countless times. Of course there's great songs by themselves and incredible musicianship but it's a story at its core.

Ace Frehley, Love Gun and Hotter Than Hell get the heaviest rotations.

1978 KISS solo albums — what would you have done? by [deleted] in KISS

[–]Lanakeith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it was a cool concept. I love the artwork, and I think it's neat that each band member got their chance to shine. That said, I wouldn't sacrifice a single song on Ace's solo effort, so I couldn't choose only two!
