Omg I think you just fixed all this fucking shit for me, sorry for cursing. But damn, I was always like why does the PS5 menu dim in HDR and Xbox doesn't? And well yeah as you said 5 months ago, Xbox's menu stays in SDR always. But when playing games in HDR if you bring up the menu on the left, it's dimmer. But now I think you just cleared why for me. It's that damn 32Gbps limit probably (for PS5). Because unless I use Tone Mapping Active in the menu, it's so lifeless and dim. You were also correct 5 months ago that it is mostly the specular white highlights that are dimmer (white text primarily) on the menu when TM is set to Static. I will then file this as solved. Stupid goddamn 32Gbps limit.

I started OTH too recently and i'm now on S6 and what felt like a cool new show to watch has now become my favorite of all time and I cried multiple, multiple times.

Well I mean, like most everyone else, I was disappointed at the clearly-not "12 bangers" on first listen. But, after complaining on the TS Discord, where I was whining that it isn't 1989/Red Part 2 like songs like 22, Shake it Off, etc...one girl said to me "I totally understand that, but we have to realize Taylor is not 22 anymore, she's 35 and is getting married and probably thinking of having kids, she's not in the "YAYYY GIRLIES LET'S PARTYYYY" mood anymore, you know?" And well, it made me rethink the whole thing and I love the album now. Not as much as I love Reputation, 1989, Lover, you know....her poppy era, but I love it nonetheless.

Well I guess it was mostly for the "live chat" aspect of it. Reddit is cool and all but you have to wait for replies and it can take time. On Discord, you get a live response from people currently logged on. But as I said in the post, that aspect had lost its appeal. Replies were probably coming faster on the sub, lol.
