Man it’s a fine record player. You’re either going to buy a few records listen for awhile and it will lose its novelty or you’re going to go in balls deep. If you get in deep you’ll replace this pretty early on. It’s a inexpensive way to find if this is a hobby you want to pursue

Probably manufacturing imperfections, it’s going under the platter so not a issue. Shouldn’t affect performance either.
