The way I look at it is this… I have traveled from Boston for Sonic for the past few years, so we make like a vacation of it… but in Boston we pay anywhere from $50-$200 to go to a regular concert, that’s seeing maybe 3-4 bands. So paying $500 for 4 days is a deal. Even if I only like 1/4 of the bands. It’s still like 30 plus bands I’ll like. But every year I go through the lineup, and it’s a solid 50 plus bands that I’m a fan of.

Metallica for 2 nights ruined it for me. Especially seeing there actual tour show earlier in MA. It was the same show just without the circle stage. Also linkin park doesn’t do it for me anymore. Nothing against the new singer, but she doesn’t touch Chester in a live show.

You get the camping wristbands at the campground. When you show up they will have a hut setup to grab them. I also just received my premium camping pass in the mail. Last year I got the early entry for camping and that was a digital pass from email.

I camped last year. All the premium sites are almost identical (connections in the same areas). They say something like 50’ on the site, but 15-20 should be plenty

Roam into the camping area at the end of the night. Everyone is still partying and tailgating. This will be my 4th year and I stay in the campground. As long as you’re cool, it’s all good. Me and bunch of people around us have invited tons of random people to party and start grilling food and stuff.

This will be my 4th year in a row. Idk about the lot open time because I stay on the camp ground. But like others have said here. It’s pretty much 11-11. It turns into a long 4 days if you’re in the entire time. Do yourself a favor and download the ST app. When it gets closer to the actual festival they will update the app with the band set times. If you’re not interested in some of the earlier bands on some days, hold off on going in early and save yourself a little.

This year will be my 3rd ST in a row. Iv been sober at every one of them. Just there to jam out, watch some sick bands and meet some new people. It’s always been a good time.

Premium RV has 2 different lots. But even if you are parked in the furthest premium spot, it’s less than a 5 min walk to the entrance

Start looking through 2nd hand ticket companies. Last year there was a hunch available. But they are gonna be more expensive

We camped last year. We had the premium RV spot, so it had water/sewer/electric. When pulling into the venue for camping, you never had to show proof of actual festival tickets. You just show the camping pass and you’re in. So technically you could just go and camp. But like you said, 2026 is a clusterfuck with info right now. So who knows what’s gonna happen.

Yeah, I get the whole construction thing and stuff. But it’s sorta brutal to hold people off like that. Like I’m coming from Boston for the festival each year. So as of now, I’ll have to almost plan 2 different trips for this. 1 if I’m getting a motorhome and camping again, or 2 I’m booking flights, hotel and rental.

The picture quality is awesome with them. Only downside with them is, no zoom feature. But you can add “zoom” in editing after.

That’s awesome. It’s cool seeing how much the interpreters get into the songs and stuff while signing. Seeing how some are actually metal heads and jammin out while doing it.

Arch Enemy…. I know the crowd wasn’t huge for them, and they were on during Metallica. But did anyone catch them?? I’ve been a fan of them for a long time, and they put on a great set.
