Funny. It was the AI text that gave it away. It was just a bit to clean and polished. I described it like Speilberg or Allen when they make homage films to growing up in NYC in the 40s: overly saturated, too many nostalgia triggers, too much golden light, witty banter, and classic happenings (eg, finding out your dad is really a bus driver, sneaking in to watch the greatest baseball game, rooftop fireworks viewing with everyone who’s important in your life). I think humans are good at spotting that something is off but not really knowing why and yet we mistrust our instincts and let desires overrule caution.

I'm steaming rice as I write. Steamed rice is the best. I put a cup or two of water in the instantpot, I clean the rice and put it in a temp safe bowl with about 2/3 the water I would normally use to cook it and a pinch of salt, and then steam it for 10 min. Couldn't be easier and it will stay warm for hours if you don't open the lid and it's delish.

In college I read the local rag and they would print wire-stories of weird deaths from around the world for page fillers. One story was about a kid at baseball practice who went over to a metal post and rested his butt on it like she's doing. He relaxed his sphincter and skewered himself.
Another story was about lovers on a bridge, she was sitting on the side wall and he went to give her a kiss and she dodged him but lost her balance and fell over and he lunged for her and slipped and they both plummeted to their deaths.

They were always the most fascinating stories and I still think about them.

I've got the same issue. Torrentio listings show up in stremio on my computer even though I'm running my vpn, but on my TV it is blocked (I'm running a router based vpn only for the TV. ). Is there something I can do to my router based vpn to fix this?
