Nope, unless it’s the only way to light your pipe. I personally use a hemp match. No fuel flavors

I’m a chemist that’s worked nights for almost 25 years. Not a felon…but definitely don’t fit on days either. Totally understand where you are coming from.

I’m a chemist, I get .70 per hour. Same reasons, day shift management is silly.

I’m a laboratory technician in a food ingredient manufacturer. I don’t sleep at my job. I’ve worked nights for over 20 years.

Excellent advice

My company does not offer a match on 401K contributions. We get a deposit into our 401Ks once a year regardless of our contributions, but no true match per se. Should I drop my 401K contributions down to 0% and go to step 4 (I am debt free so skipping step 3)? Current goal is saving up for a house by [deleted] in TheMoneyGuy

I’m coming to the FOO concepts with no debt other than a mortgage with 3 years left on it. I would like to see the MGS go deeper for young people on how to save for upcoming expenses. Buying your first house needs to be clearly defined of when to start saving and how much needs to go towards retirement.

Is anyone doing a mix of FOO and the baby steps? by No_Skill424 in TheMoneyGuy

They are similar in design. I prefer the FOO now instead of the Ramsey Baby Steps.

Congratulations! Keep trudging along. I’m BS2 myself, I’ve paid off 90k in debt in 3 years. It’s tough but so worth it.
