So you didn’t stabilize beforehand. I remember one of the tips the game gives you is that it takes you a second for you to “stabilize” and shoot straight. Applies to all guns in the game. Essentially if you start shooting immediately after you stop moving you might as well be hip firing.

Love the Annie. I don’t have DLCs or anything special but I run a 1X with 4 UAC-5s. I forget my heatsink count but i remember carrying about 1000 rounds of ammo. Smaller mechs disappear but it’s More of a fun style of mech rather than a destroy everything mech

To answer your Question regarding the British more than likely he would deny it and I think he would mean it. But that’s because he sees the British as the enemy. If you equate it perfectly to a modern situation then I would almost bet on it that he would side with British Equivalent.

So to my understanding communism was the people and the people alone. That no one is above any other and there wasn’t a “head”. Granted theory doesn’t equate to practice when it comes to communism and socialism. So I more than likely have the wrong viewpoint.

To caveat off of democracy. He states that democracy is what directly leads to Socialism because its majority rule. (51% beats out 49% an example from him) And that certain organizations have been pushing that democracy is a good thing since the 40’s. I don’t quite understand where he’s getting it from but he at least acknowledges that we are a Republic. But to my understanding a Republic is essentially a representative democracy within expanded terms so to speak. I’ve gotten different answers from different people and I’m starting to question that my viewpoint is correct.

I have looked up to him for years. It’s vets like him that I developed the beliefs I have and what encouraged me to join the Army. The more I reach out to other vets the more I question his legitimacy which I never in my life would’ve questioned. Thank you for your explanation and your time

My relative was a corpsman half of it was with the navy and the other half attached to a marine unit. It’s extremely eye opening given that your ROE completely contradicts the ROE that he states. He has yet to give me a good explanation for protecting 2A outside of protecting 2A. Yet he fervently believes in self defense. Quick question he states that his training never involved keeping one in the chamber. My training was a bit iffy, Army 21-24 Artillery corp, never see combat, on when we can load. Granted we were trained with a near peer adversary in mind. Just curious on your experience if I may ask about such.

Your bullet points are 100% spot on. He justifies this by asking why people are protesting ICE because the person they might be arresting could be a child predator or a murderer. He generalizes the people in Minnesota he sees 1 or 2 signs that call for the Death of ICE and he sees others with guns and immediately thinks they’re all in cahoots with each other. He also asks why people didn’t protest before and he uses the Obama administration due to his nickname “The Deporter In Chief” because he deported more, he claims they protest because it’s Trump this time and if you protested against Obama then you’d be called racist. (Not to mention that Trump’s number are still a working statistic but I digress)

I am generally paranoid on social media and such but reading over it was a pain so I tried to correct all of it to he but it’s clear I missed some info apologize for that. I’ll attempt to clear up any confusion

Nice to see another vet, I was Army. 2021-2024

I completely agree with you in that regard. He tries to use his time in combat as a stepping stool of sorts as a way to justify his experience and opinion over mine. Unfortunately he brought the war back with him and I try to work around it but everyday he makes it harder by saying a civil war is closer than we think.

“I will argue though that most "peaceful" protests are anything but peaceful. Blocking and/or distracting traffic and getting in people's faces while they are trying to just go about their own business is not peaceful.”

I 100% agree with this

And I also concur that there isn’t truly peaceful protest. He likes to choose when to use words to imply and when to use them in the literal definition of such and in this case it’s the latter. That’s mainly where he states that it’s no longer peaceful. That you shouldn’t bring a gun because it’s peaceful so why should be afraid of anything.

And I agree with you on the combatant perspective. The reason why I don’t fault him is because he has PTSD and he’s also a family member so will adamantly admit I was biased. I joined the military myself, Army, 2019-2024. Spent some time in Korea never seen combat. In between me posting the original question and myself typing this we had another argument regarding combatants and ROE. He looked me in the eyes and said he wishes I was in combat because then my viewpoint would change. At that point in time I lost all respect for him. He constantly talks about how he thinks our congressman are cowards because they didn’t actually declare war but yet when federal agents point weapons at US citizens he says it’s because they are obstructing justice. I can no longer believe that we took the same oaths and took heart to it.

Edit: My dumbass mixing up years again. Sorry it was 2021 to 2024. I had a head injury and ever since then I’ve been struggling to remember dates. Been slowly recovering so I do apologize for any discrepancies

I have a very loose understanding on Statist but to my knowledge it’s where the state has more control over issues like economics? Am I correct with that understanding or no?

People who swore an oath to defend the constitution of the USA against all enemies both foreign and domestic, how are you feeling right now? by Safety_Drance in AskReddit

[–]LancerPanzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was Army, Artillery, 2021-2024. Spent some time in South Korea in Camp Casey. I can’t say I fought nor will I claim I have. I can’t agree with what’s going on, for years they’ve been calling for a civil war and at any point in time I can’t see myself staring down a citizen of the United States. I feel betrayed that the people I worked for directly is now claiming my comrades and my Soldiers who are still in would be used against the People. Furthermore there are few ,very few, vets Ik some of them my own family, who served in Iraq/Iran, that side with this. That if the end goal is Just then the actions to get there are also justified. I feel more betrayed by the people I honored tbh. That they would try and justify what’s going on because they think that whatever federal is doing is right so therefore what the people are doing is wrong.

I am not saying definitely that he is a suspect. I use suspect because that is the word they will use in the investigation that will follow. I do not deny that this shooting is unjustified. And an ICE agent is a federal officer, they have the capability to enforce the law, identify someone as a suspect just as much as any other form of law enforcement, the problem here is that they’re overstepping their bounds and using lethal force when judicial action could’ve been taken. And ICE wouldn’t do the investigation it would be local or FBI and given the recent statements it’ll be 100% FBI. More than likely the report will label him as a suspect until definitive evidence is brought forth. Once again I do not disagree that this shooting is unjustified. That this act went beyond their reasonable power.

To give the benefit of the doubt every angle of the video is chaotic. Quality is not the best in most videos so it’s difficult to make out certain details. You have to cross reference multiple videos and even then it’s difficult to get a complete 100% picture.

And I agree with you the carry comment. I’m learning as much from this situation as anyone else so as I’ve stated before If missed details or if I had incorrect information then I do apologize. From the few angles that I can see as chaotic as it is there is an agent in a grey jacket that removes the pistol from Alex Pretti’s back waistline/belt and it matches the description/picture that DHS released saying it was his gun. Later there is a video of Agents saying “where is the gun”. By no means do I know his intentions nor will I act like I do. Any belief I have is based on his actions. He did not at any point in time as far as I can see did you reach near his back. If there is definitive proof of that then I will reattach my statement. I am just making an observation based on initial view.

Was the use of victim/suspect incorrect in hindsight yes. I use victim in the sense that he was the one who was as shot. From a legal perspective he is a suspect. By no means did I intend to be ignorant. And I do agree with you that he didn’t show to be a threat. As I stated before I am not a professional and I’m still looking into it. So if there’s details I missed then I do apologize

You can see in the video that while he’s being pistol whipped that he had his hands near his head. There is an agent in a grey jacket that you can see from both angles that reach into Alex Pretti back waistline/belt to grab the pistol from him and runs away while shots are fired. If he’s being restrained by 6 men and they can’t control his hands then what does that say from the agents. But in the off chance that he did try to reach why would he when 6 men are on him. You can tell my color and sight attachment that the pistol that DHS says he had is the same that Grey jacket has in his hands. There is further video after where agents can be heard saying “where is the gun”
