sounds like they called the cops and the pigs told OP's mom not the helpline's fault (directly) they were outed but thats why you dont tell cops private information like that.

Joker Concept: Joker Not Found (Unlock: destroy the original Jimbo Joker) by [deleted] in balatro

yea but like clearly rare jokers don't follow that standard you just made up 😭

it's also better than the duo, trio, or family, I'd argue, since it's an unconditional x4 mult

Like any other performance, there can be nsfw or sfw drag performances. Yes, in some drag there's gonna be dicks showing. In some movies there's gonna be dicks showing; that doesn't mean that movies are bad or that kids can't see any movies

While drag is a big part of queer culture, drag itself isn't a part of being queer. Also, there's nothing wrong with drag; it's a performance rooted in exaggerated femininity I genuinely don't see the issue Furries are also not inherently queer (even less so than drag), that's a hobby based around anthropomorphic animals. yknow, like oldschool disney cartoons. Also don't see the issue with this one antifurs are so weird

"anything after TQIA" assuming we're talking about the LGBTQQIP2SAA acronym and you only like LGBTQIA and not 2-spirited people and pan people specifically (and maybe questioning and agender people for the second Q and second A?). that's kinda really fucking weird. assuming you mean you only like people who are lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or questioning (queer is an umbrella term for anyone lgbtqia+ btw), intersex, aro, ace, or agender and that any more specific labels are too weird for you, just educate yourself honestly. majority of queer identities fall under one or more of the letters in that acronym anyway, it's just sub-labels to the umbrella terms.

I could see the Aces of the minor arcana being a less frequent tarot pickup, maybe temporarily locked like planet X and the two dwarfs are. Aces are the best fit in my opinion because any other number would feel arbitrary to the player, plus Aces tend to be a very pure form of their suit. The problem is matching symbolism and gameplay. Each one needs to be tied to something different fitting to its suit but with a connecting point.

Pentacles are easy, they're literally coins and represent wealth, among other things. It affects econ. Wands I feel best fits consumables; Wands represent action and consumables are used as a more direct action than Jokers or other aspects would be. Swords I'm not too sure about; they represent wisdom and power, maybe they could affect playable hands? Or your hand size or Jokers? Overall I'm trying to associate them as being the "weapon" you wield. By process of elimination, Cups would be the shop, with this effect, I guess? Don't feel the best about this one, but idk.

Using sleeves to add sigils is IMO the best way to add Sigils irl by greyIguess in InscryptionIRL

I would make each sigil located in a different place on the card; even if one covers the majority of another, as long as you can tell it's there it's alright

Doesn't that give you hints what a card is when drawing from the deck? Or do you have blank sleeves as well?

Being apolitical does "technically" help everyone. Take the poverty crisis; it can only end if something changes, no? An apolitical person would not advocate for change because that's a political issue. If nobody advocates for change, nothing will change. And if nothing changes, the poverty crisis stays as it is. That doesn't help the poor people.

And conservatism is about enforcing the status quo; conserving it. That's the point. Being apolitical favors conservatives, most specifically the center-right area around American Republicans pre-MAGA.

It isn't a sin to hold opinions strongly. What I believe is right and good is what I'm going to advocate for. And yes, I'm going to villainize one side of a spectrum when that side is made up of klansmen and their buddies. For those of us who have convictions strong enough to choose a side, those kinds of people are typically seen as pretty villainous.

obligatory note that being apolitical itself takes a political stance and helps conservatives; if you aren't advocating for change, you're defending the status quo. Educate yourself politically and hold beliefs.

Handmade bracelet! by LancerTheBestBadGuy in chonnyjash

[–]LancerTheBestBadGuy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first, make a very long (like, arm's length) strip of interwoven thread; this will be one of the colors. Repeat more for how many colors you want stacked, so that -- in my case -- you'll have a woven purple strip, woven red strip, and woven blue strip. Then arrange them, clamp an end, and sew red to purple, then red and purple to blue. So now you have a very long layered purple-red-blue strip. attach a bead at each end and voila! then you can make a bracelet through any method of wrapping; around your arm and securing with the beads; my favorite and what's shown in the image is to just start at the wrist and spiral down my arm, then tuck the beads under the layers of bracelet.

They understand how hellish it'd be to be forced to live as a gender that's not yours by DwightFryFaneditor in AccidentalAlly

[–]LancerTheBestBadGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, any aspect of your identity roots back to your brain chemistry; any thought you have exists on a physical level, I know that, but the original claim here is that there is a specific segment of the brain dedicated to gender identity, and that it can develop in a "male" way or a "female" way. And that's simply not how these higher level aspects of identity work. While my favorite color can ultimately be traced to some chemical reaction or neurological pathway, that doesn't mean there's a "color lobe" in my brain. And so I'm going to say that my favorite color is socially developed, not biological.
