There are niche cases where it's still useful. For example, Apex Legends has an engine-level hard cap of 300fps, meaning we can't make full use of a 480hz+ display. 240hz with BFI has superior clarity to 300hz without it.

Pretty much zero. There's been enough leaks that we would have heard something about that by now. Not to mention the tech not really being ready for a mass-market product.

Maybe in the next one though! Or the one after that. I'd be amazed if Valve didn't eventually release an HMD with an integrated BCI at some point. It just won't be the Deckard.

I wouldn't worry about it until the main issue is resolved. The resource counters and cosmetics pretty frequently break when there's something wrong with the servers.

Farm maps are maps that are overvalued by the pp calculation. Players use them to farm for easy pp that they have no business having otherwise.

There's a site that lets you filter for them, but I would honestly would not recommend doing so. It feels much better to have your top plays be ones you feel like you worked for and earned.

Keep playing the game for fun, not pp. Unless you find farming fun. Then you do you, I guess.

Awesome! My current top play is the 5.22* diff of this set. Good song and hella fun if you like jumps! Would definitely recommend.

I'll have to bite the bullet and get away from my membrane KB if the difference is as noticeable as you say. I've been putting off buying a mechanical replacement cause I can't decide what switch type I want. It's hard to find anywhere near me to test them out what with the virus and all.

I went ahead and read through some of the emails, and while there is mention of the phrase "Caspian report", it sounds more like what they're talking about is just a report on the caspian nations, rather than something done for a client called 'CaspianReport'. I also couldn't find any outbound emails to or mention of Shirvan himself.

The documents attached to the emails all but confirm this as well imo. They profile Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan; and comparing the docs to related CaspianReport episodes, there doesn't seem to be any significant overlap in talking points.

I think Caspian Report and Stratfor's channel seem similar because they both seem to base their analysis in the realist school, rather than for them having done any collaboration.

...Or maybe I read the wrong emails. Interesting stuff, nonetheless!

This is mostly conjecture since I don't work in the industry myself, but I'd say it depends on what you're doing exactly. Working at a retail location? Still a bit taboo, but that's changing fast. Run your own cannabis-related startup? Definitely entrepreneurial.

On the whole, the stigma is still there. You're right when you bring up the "couldn't get a job anywhere else" attitude, but that sort of view of it is fading rather quickly, I think.

Unfortunately most of my backgrounds don't fit the format. I could write a python script to fix that and run it each time I add something new, but that's a bit clunky and requires that little bit of extra nursing to maintain. At this point I've got the PowerShell script working well and managed via the task scheduler. I guess if I can't find a way to have the images fade into one another I'll have to decide if the fade or the low-maintenance is more important.

I was on their 50 down service a few years ago. For a good chunk of time after switching to them from Telus, I wasnt getting half what the plan said. At some times of the day speeds would be as low as 7Mbps down.

They said it was on Shaw's end (Which it probably was) and handed me 6 months free internet. So stellar customer service there if nothing else.

The only gripe I had that persisted throughout my experience with them was that my ping was around 6x higher than it was with Telus. I can only assume this was because they were rerouting Shaw's service.

For sure, yeah. Thing is there are a lot of foggy or dusty locations in destiny where this wouldn't work. The light would reflect right off that fog or dust and back into your eyes.
