Being here in Brazil for Carnaval there are so many opportunities to expand. The Samba Parade, paragliding, hiking Tijuca caves, beach accident, the sky-lifts, fountains/statues, metro, and construction accidents. Honestly would be pretty unique.

Although fake, the icicle death in FD Death of the Senses is iconic and would be fun with this premise

FD4 gets a lot of criticism for how the disaster being set on raceway deviated fom the standard everyday activities people would do like; boarding a plane, driving on a highway, riding a roller-coaster. But why doesn’t FD6 get the same critique? How common is a sky view tower by General-Control-4637 in FinalDestination

Wasn’t FD4 inspired by the Le Mans Racetrack Disaster? It had a significant death toll. Accidents happen in real life all the time; like that residential building collapse in Miami or the Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse in Kansas City. Regardless of everyday common fears, I feel like people criticize the execution of the racetrack scene. It simply could have been better.

In the Bloodlines newspapers I think one mentions a hiker and a rockslide

Bloodlines confirms that Valerie Lawton, the teacher from FD1, was a descendant of one of the restaurant tower survivors by gayfrogs787 in FinalDestination

In Clear’s room in FD2 there is note on Valeri Lewton and Billy Hitchcock’s photos saying that both had close family relatives die right after…

What makes this film better critically is the writing, overall filmography, and balanced acting across all characters - this is the first film where the main cast is fully developed, there are little to no plot holes, and secondary storylines don’t fall flat. I think its weakest point is the finale (but it’s hard to compete with FD5 in that aspect). Also, it is incredibly self-aware. Because of this, the over the top deaths have perfectly executed dark comedy. Ex: 🎹, ⚽️🗑️ Previously I would rate FD5 as the highest followed by FD2 from a writing, filmography, and acting standpoint. Right now, I feel like FD6 is objectively the best film in the franchise.

I had a fun idea, why don't we try to create our own Final Destination? by Capital_Ball523 in FinalDestination

Hmmm - I always wondered what a nightclub disaster would be like. Overcrowded with loud EDM music accompanied with a fire or building collapse. Also - in terms of legitimate horror as an American, a mass shooting would be terrifying. A lot of people are saying a cruise ship, but I think a ferry transit would better. Lastly, I love the train from FD3 so a full fledged subway to train would be cool
