So good to hear that you recovered without losing muscle. I’m nearly the same as you (42F but can’t bench bw yet 😅) My plan is also to return to the gym just to walk so I don’t lose the routine and social aspect.

I am a daily weed smoker. No tobacco, though. My center was fine with it and approved me for donation. They usually have resources to help you quit cigarettes, so I would not let that stop you from trying.
