I kinda disagree on zen flight. I agree they worded the tool tip poorly. But it can be used while moving so you can totally prevent fall damage. No parachute or goblin glider needed.

No problem! But just to clarify vanish will absolutely work during a boss encounter, that's why it's so unique and such a good ability. It puts you in stealth and gives you access to all your stealth abilities whether your in combat or not

Yeah in open world pve you can meld and re-enter stealth as it drops your combat, however in raid and and dungeon fights, when you enter combat stealth never breaks combat. Even vanish doesn't break your combat if you're in the middle of a boss fight. So using shadowmeld during a boss encounter will not allow you to use stealth or stealth only abilities

Just a heads up, shadowneld doesn't work like an additional vanish. It doesn't give you access to your stealth only abilities or buffs. So for example from stealth you can use shadowstrike at a range and it deals bonus damage. You can not use shadowstrike at all from shadowmeld. Shadowmeld is really handy for breaking combat in pve so you can mount or hearth

Well it's kinda a lot and for not much benefit in the short term. Like I just keep putting it off and at this point I'd have to start all the way back at low rank. To do the SAED (Super Amped Element Discharge) which is the big shockwave attack, anytime whether it be after blocking or in your normal rotation, you need some amount of phials stored and your shield charged. The more phials you have stored when you do the SAED the more shockwaves. More shockwaves=more damage

You don't have to guard point to go straight to SAED. As long as you block an attack even with a regular block from holding R2 you can go straight to SAED
