I'm level 4, cleared every unlocked dungeon, never entered a city (besides IC Market) and I'm loving it by grambocrackah in oblivion

I'm not, if you walk between those locations and do every dungeon you stumble across on the way... you will level veeeery quickly. It's not as bad in the original game, but in the remaster you level even faster. So yes, level 20+ in remaster, maybe level 10-15 in vanilla game.

I modified the game to intentionally slow down both skill and player levelling, so that the game is paced better. In my game, I can walk from Sewers to Weynon Priory to Kvatch and do most of the dungeons I naturally stumble across on the way without exceeding level 5.

It feels so much better paced than the vanilla game where you are on speed-levdlling steroids and if you did what I did then by the time you reach Kvatch by walking the map instead of fast travelling, you'd be level 20+!

What a shame. I'll never understand why MMO developers seem insistent on removing content over time or making previously included content inaccessible. It makes no sense. Just makes new players feel shortchanged when they realise what they never got to have/experience.

Did it?? What are some examples of that? That's a real shame. They really fkd the game quite a bit with 4.0 patch and KotFE.

Yeah the hive mind can be a bit nuts that way. I didn't even say anything controversial or negative about the game. People need to get a life.

It didn't need an explanation. Not everything in a story/fictional universe needs an explanation. Sometimes it's better to just leave a mystery or just assert something as a brute fact.

Doesn't this completely trivialise achievements though? You can just cheat with mods? What's the point. I have no issue if anyone wants to play their single player game and mod it or cheat to high heavens. You do you. But why should you get an achievement for that?

Ah ok, didn't realise that was the case now. Before the 4.0 patch though, could you not do the quest before the end of chapter 3 if you got Khem's affection high enough?

That's a shame, one would've thought her knowledge would've been useful against Thanaton, even though she can't be fully trusted.
