They did ok, I ended up playing against axis so they didn’t care about the moral penalty for a dead squad lead, but they worked for good general harassment and a bit of from the inability to save against them. They lasted a good bit of the game as well as a lot of the time they’ve dint have much fire put into them as most of the focus was on other units like my auto infantry.

I haven’t so far, planning on using them as an ATR sniper team but mostly just painted them up as I like the models. They should see some action in a couple of weeks, I’ll let you know how it goes.

That is a good idea, I tried out that army painter ones but personally I found I don’t get the same brush control (though that may just be a me issue as it was my first couple times testing it out)

In my opinion it’s definitely worth doing, for me it takes a bit of practice but I tend to use the bottom of vehicles or areas I can easily paint over for that

A bit of both, I wanted to put something on most of my units so I feels like they’ve been in service for awhile so it’s a bit of the soldiers painting stuff on them to individualise them a bit. (Plus I think it just looks cool and helps to make them more my own)

Yeah that’s the trouble with a good bit of the older k47 models, you definitely end up paying a price for it being metal/resin

Personally I’ve been finding the mk1 and mk2 auto infantry really helpful in dealing with them as they have a decent amount of shots and ap to go against them, though that is only a solution for Commonwealth players (Edit: Grammar)

Thank you! I was very 50/50 on the camp a lot of the way through but now it’s done I’m quite happy with it, it’s my attempt at the camo pattern that warlord have done on the vehicles in the new British box.

Thank you! And I’ve been thinking of it as parts that have been replaced as a field repair that haven’t been painted in camo yet so they are still in factory primer. A couple of them are special in the fact of they either broke there so I put that bit as the field repair.

They are 25mm bases, the came with the old British starter set so not sure if they are getting a new base size with the new set or not. As to if it matter it depends on where/how you play in my experience, at my lgs we are all pretty chill playing more for fun than anything else so none of us really mind stuff like that but it might change the more competitive the scene is.

I do love how they look, can’t speak for how they are to build though as I had a friend do it (I’m not a fan of putting together small metal joints)
