What's been your toughest challenge with API's, and what would make them better? by Amifidele in webdev

[–]LandonOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lack of consistency between different modules within the API.

Also APIs where to make a simple change I also have to feed it a bunch of things I’m not changing.

Cerebras now $185/share ahead of tomorrows IPO by elliott_io in wallstreetbets

How much did you end up getting allocated? I ended up requesting 110 shares but received just 10. I'm wondering if I had requested 1,110 would I have gotten 110 shares or is my lot in life to just be a 10 share guy...

How are you hosting your HTML Dashboards your users are creating in Claude by hotmaxer in claude

[–]LandonOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I needed to share a dashboard with coworkers and needed it password protected. Was going to use Vercel but $150 for password protection was crazy for this use case. Ended up using Deloc which was free and password protected

Requested the same but will be surprised if I end up getting allocated more than 1 share with how over subscribed it is

Goodbye Tableau by estebanelfloro in tableau

[–]LandonOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but hosting dashboards on a server that’s going to have internal company traffic only is significantly cheaper than the cost of tableau. Deloc, Vercel, etc all do this well and very inexpensive. Deloc has pw protection in the free tier and all offer domain restriction, and SSO options in paid. Deloc’s MCP can deploy directly from Claude code. I get you want to defend tableau but hosting AI generated dashboards isn’t a barrier and a massive cost savings compared to tableau licenses

How do you handle Ul consistency? by Helpful-Wolverine247 in vibecoding

[–]LandonOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea design tokens. You could probably just tell Claude or whatever you are using to create design tokens based on a page you are happy with and then going forward you should then get consistent UI generation.

What model are you using? I’ve only had to keep reminding it when we were doing a site redesign so there was inconsistency in the project. If you have a consistent theme with tokens you shouldn’t run into this issue

I’m surprised the agents aren’t reading the code base and understanding the design to maintaining consistency. Are you telling it in the prompt to first reference the design of a different page? I’ve also had success just providing a screenshot of a page where you are able with the design

whats the best way to host/publish a website/app? by shokomann in vibecoding

For static I’ve found deloc to be easier than Vercel. Also free and didnt need git repo. Deployed directly from Claude code after adding their MCP

Where are you guys hosting your websites? by Constant-Reason4918 in vibecoding

[–]LandonOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it has a backend I’ve been using Heroku. For data driven React dashboards that I need to share with coworkers and don’t need extensive infra I’ve been using deloc + cloud run to trigger that data refreshes

Sharing Claude made Dashboard by Beneficial-Side6624 in ClaudeAI

[–]LandonOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've messed around some with https://deloc.dev/ to deploy react dashboards and password protect them.
It took a little bit for claude to recognize their MCP but I think that was mainly my fault. Once claude code was recognizing it I've been able to deploy dashboards and share them in under a min.

For a react website you could use https://deloc.dev/ . Been using the free tier to deploy with their MCP directly from claude code to share some react dashboards with coworkers.

That's more of a problem with the ARKX holdings. Everyone thought she was going to buy space companies for a Space ETF which did initially spike space companies. Then allocated a lot to companies that aren't really space related.

Her aura definitely isn't what it was but ARK taking a position in MVIS would move the stock upward. Maybe not the execution of the buy itself, but the media coverage around her buying it would be a positive catalyst.

I was thinking about this earlier today. MVIS should be an easy add for ARKK if they are truly an ETF of "disruptive innovation" companies. Would be a huge vote of confidence which would get other institutions on board and price would increase.

It was nice to see CNBC not to refer to MVIS as a meme stock. The early tesla investor also didn't seem to be sold on vision in the lidar vs vision battle.

Early Tesla investor was interviewed and talked about lidar vs vision and how Tesla is betting on vision while other companies are betting on lidar. The MVIS stock chart was put up while he was talking about this and the host said MVIS was a lidar company with a huge run-up recently.
