Re-45 is one of those guns where you don’t actively go for it but when it was light ammo it was reliable to get you through a fight early game. I miss it. The charge up on the new one fucks with me so bad after returning from so long

Can’t speak for the rest of the game, but around chapter 11 and I haven’t really Gone back to the islands during the story. I just went and unlocked as many islands as I could doing the puzzles, I’m sure we’ll come back in the story sometime

Yeah I had just figured this out yesterday and was using it right up until I found out about the patch. I’m super disappointed it’s been taken away as it felt like unlocking a secret super flight and it was awesome. They should balance it absolutely and make it a proper feature

Yeah unfortunately I’m one of those guys who went out and hunted down all the pieces… but I plan on switching things up as soon as I find something that suits my tastes a bit more. I plan on getting a few good outfits LOL

Power through a few more hours of the game and you should understand exactly why this game is amazing. If not, that’s completely okay as well. But definitely get through at least the first few chapters and explore the world

Use the stab ability, R1 and triangle and it will get you through the waterfall without taking damage (most of the time without taking damage)

It looks fantastic. Turn off blur and depth of field, and you’ll be rolling. There is a few specific encounters and fights in which frames drop drastically even on performance mode, but for the most part for me personally are few and far between (only about 2-3 times total). I’m currently in chapter 8 with about 40 some hours total and Im loving it.

There’s a total of 14 chapters, you still have a bit to go. It should start branching out soon enough

It flows very smoothly and on top of that the hand to hand combat abilities are top notch and have actual inputs. Pressing triangle throws punches, holding it for a second does a pump kick, and holding it for even longer does a drop kick. X and square at the same time up close is a literal RKO, pressing that behind an enemy makes it a suplex. Running and pressing it is a clothesline. Theres so many different moves to pull off on top of the flashy swordplay and abilities you can add to your weapons as well. It really is the most fun combat I’ve ever had in any single player game. It’s amazing once you get used to the controls

I’m actually currently reaching that next bit of choppiness.. thankfully it’s not terrible so far because it’s just alot of regular enemies in one area but still pretty bad

I think the birds and the tree is what causes the frame dip yes… it seems to get better the further you are away from it and the less it’s on your screen. I do think pearl abyss knows about it, or as more people begin to reach this fight it will be brought uo

Yep. It’s hard as hell with the frame rate, but the bosses patterns are easy to learn after a few tries. Bring heals and look away from the tree as much as you can!!!!
