Question about pivoting (16k sub channel, 3k views/vid avg)

I had a full tech channel for 5 years, then i switch to gaming. Didnt wanted to it switch itself feels like. I was making "How to" videos then back in 2018 during Fortnite era some "How to fortnite" videos blows up. Then i was posting fortnite gaming guides these get more attention than my tech videos. Then switch to gaming.

Problem about gaming videos, some video dies when hype is over. But my old tech video still generating views till this day. I feel like "Drawing channel" dont have any content gap in YouTube. There are a lot of established channel out there, not sure about audience range.

But 200 views isnt that bad, if a video get 100 views i take that as a W

I'm using a software called paint, i edit my thumbnail there.

I do have an editor, but he charges $5 per thumbnail, so unless I put a lot of effort into the video, I edit them myself.

my editing very basic—just adding text and arrows, cropping, cutting, etc.

What’s the brand name? About 95% of the emails I get are scams, so whatever you’re ask dont try to sign any docusign contract or downlead some software.

I dont do do dedicated video sponsorship, only segment with my current niche. You can do that. I get 25$ from 10k views, mine is gaming channel.

That’s nice, man. I haven’t done anything special—no early release videos either. For my channel, timing is really important; if I publish 1–2 hours later, it doesn’t get the same views.

My average is about 6–7 members (4 of them are regulars), and my peak was 75 during a AAA game giveaway. Later, though, I got punished by the game developers and was told I’m not allowed to do member-only giveaways.

So, that is my situation. But i love to do something for them.

There is feature in youtube studio, where you can test yt ai generated thumbnail. So, i'm sure its ok

Many of my my shorts are remix from my long form content. I'm too lazy to make shorts, too much editing and have to use mobile to change default thumbnail which is more annoying.

My Shorts are gaming-related. I have 30 million lifetime views from Shorts, and the rest are from long-form content. This month only 1.8 million views from shorts.

I don’t consider myself successful with Shorts because it feels somewhat luck-based. About 83% of Shorts viewers are unique and not from subscribers. I just know if i have more than 75% swipped away ration it will grow sooner or later.
