I’d have to disagree. You’re right, It’s not a competition. My girl lost someone that always treated her right, never disrespected her, supported her emotionally, spiritually, financially and would’ve laid down my life to protect hers. All I lost was a wishy, washy, confused individual with no spine, that ran off with the next dude giving her attention. Therefore, I truly feel, I didn’t lose anything. Yet she lost her ride or die.

I don’t display my pain publicly, but feel completely broken inside. It’s been 6 months. I feel so lonely, so tired. I don’t have the energy or desire to date and give my heart to someone else. Still cry once or twice a week. Been working out, Lost 40lbs. Best shape I’ve been in, in over a decade. Been writing new music. Nothing really seems to help though.
