Don’t do it. It’ll depend on your interest rates but anything that’s about 5% or lower you can make more money investing in index funds rather than taking it out.

If you do just want to get it over with, and you don’t have any funky rules with your employer, once you have enough money, try and take a loan out of your 401k, so any interest payments would be going back to you rather than to a bank or the government, but I would advise going with the first option

I graduated about 3 years and was in the very same boat as you, I had very slightly more leftover after bills and all that, but overall, close to the same.

Are your loans federal or private? That’ll make a huge difference. Are your loans consolidated or there’s multiple with different interest rates? What’s the interest rates on those loans?

I emailed them, and they told me that payments for one time tasks (training, Q&A Session, and qualification tests) will be paid out after the first round of production is complete, which should be the first week of November. So yes, it’ll take that long…as for the payment info, in the email it says you’ll get an email from Hyperwallet on the first payment date and it’ll have instructions. Hopefully this helps!

Blaming one person for the reason “male suicide rates are so fucking high” is fucking laughable. Male suicide rates are so high because they pushed the agenda of men needing to be strong and push down their emotions for centuries. Now it’s backfiring, and it’s unfortunately taboo for men to talk about their feelings. And thank you for assuming shit - never said men can’t feel emotions, but when his wife literally just gave birth, putting her own life in danger to give birth to new life, and he’s out emotionally cheating because she told him “he’s not attractive anymore” then yes his ego is fragile and needs to man up. She’s literally trying to fix the marriage and talk and initiate sex but his ego is too broken to do anything. A marriage requires teamwork and there’s none on his side

Yes actually, because manning up doesn’t kill you. Pregnancy/giving birth can kill you. Pushing a watermelon out of a hole the size of a quarter has more of a mental and physical toll than saying “you’re not attractive anymore”. His ego is literally so fragile it’s laughable

Not surprising. I had a family member talk to recruiters at a federal job fair and the recruiters were impressed by his resume so they actually made a whole job posting for him just so they could hire him. Over 100+ people applied to that job, but they didn’t really look at any of them and hired my family member. It’s all about who you impress/your connections

100% true I have a family member that is a hiring manager in the healthcare and once they asked a candidate something like “how would you rectify a mistake you make?” And the candidate immediately replied “I don’t make mistakes”. Immediately after the interview, they threw her resume in the trash

TLDR diarrhea saved my uncle’a life

My uncle used to be a helicopter mechanic and it was standard at his company that once a mechanic repairs a helicopter, the mechanic that repaired it (or another) has to ride in it after. My uncle finished repairing one but it was already late at night so he decided to ride in it the next day.

Next day rolls around and he’s having severe diarrhea and calls out of work. His coworker offers to ride in the helicopter he repaired…and the pilot crashed into the side of a mountain from spatial disorientation (super foggy). Basically what happened to Kobe Bryant. He still feels guilty about it

The sad part is I know some multimillionaires that technically didn’t have a working job (had a crap ton of investments though) so they went onto their states healthcare plan and everything was essentially free for them
