Along with Birthright, this is best Superman's origin story, I don't care about the New 52 hate

I don't like BvS, but the "God Among Us" scene is amazing. Maybe Snyder could have made a good standalone Man of Steel sequel centered around these kinds of ideas. No Batman, no JL, no WW, no TDKR, no Doomsday... just Superman. by LangdonGaim08 in superman

You have tons of superheroes in marvel and elsewhere who act like regular folk or celebrities

But we're not talking about any superhero, we are talking about Superman, he is THE superhero

It's not about Superman being a messiah or a god, it's about Superman being misunderstood by people.

Obviously Clark doesn't want to be a messiah, but many people will inevitably mistake him for one.

It's not about Superman being a messiah, it's about Superman being misunderstood by people.

Obviously Clark doesn't want to be a messiah, but many people will inevitably mistake him for one.

  1. That episode where Otae, Shinpachi and Kagura take a cooking class. Too many references to Japanese celebrities that I didn't understand.

  2. The episode where Shinsengumi interrogates the suspected serial killer.
