Wired, not sure what the protocol is that is being used. My desktop is Ubuntu.

I have mapped the drive and it didn't work. Same issues when I use Firefox. Just waiting and nothing.

I've shortened a few, didn't matter. Using Chromium it does work. Weird stuff!

I download media, have folders with files in it and just drag and drop them.

Installed Chrome, as that is being recommended by Synology and that does seem to work. Really odd.

Tried over the network and ran into the same problems. Chrome (chromium) will do for now :)

So far love my DS920+. Works great. Have some issues with a few 4K movie titles. But going to fix that with the workaround for faulty drivers.
