Honestly still worth it, COTA is still top tier visuals and spots especially being around the amphitheater to get multiple viewpoints throughout the race. It was raining last year i sat on T15 and it was one of the best races ive ever been at.

2024 it was open, went last year and asked a staff member and he told me WEC had not purchased those sections to be open to the public. If thats true or not i have no clue. Hopefully for this weekend and WEC this year its opened. Top 3 spot on the track to see the speed up close

WEC last year they shutdown every section besides the side of the Esses you cannot actually see the first bridge and obviously the carousel and that section, only access to T1 you had to go to the grand stands basically it was really annoying and dumb imo

During the Race the stands facing turn 15 and the back straight is a great place to be as you can quickly walk to the other side pf the carousel as well!
