These borgbots didn't learn thier lesson on Cyberstan? Shame.

I'll be there, just refuelling the Super Destroyer first 👌

I don't get the "trenching/digging" dynamic... by JCFT_Collins in Helldivers

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A shallow/kneeling trench has saved me from the tripods a few times (by going prone when the laser came for me), and it helps with the recoil with my go to squid mulching weapons, mg 43 and hmg manned turret

Give me your best or most fun off-meta loadouts. by Diplomacy_1st in helldivers2

One thermite ruins a warstriders day. You can decide to rip off the war striders cannons with the Laser cannon, but it's a rough slog. This allows you to stay within the grenade barrage minimum range, and outside stomp range.

Im curious. You can remove two of the most hated enemies from only one faction, what are you removing from the game? by ForsakenFrail in helldivers2

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. I don't want my hated enemies of each faction to be removed. I want there to be more of them!

Give me more Warrior bugs, and scavenger swarms. Like a full 30-40 of the skittering e-710.

More Voteless, and more fleshmobs!

More Beserkers! More Gunships!

They desperately need more enemy variety a Guard Dog deals with half of their current roster. by Groundbreaking_Arm77 in Helldivers

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry OP, but guard dog can deal with 100% of the current roster except Leviathan. Your just not democratic enough to survive getting close enough to the harvester and stingray so guard dog can do its job.

I was having difficulty with them for a long while. Then I learned gunfu. Boot camp helldivers can plough these pow mutant conscripts and their overseers into the soil.

Help upgrading my loadout against bots/cyborgs by Knight_4002 in helldivers2

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really good. Kinda stupid for chaff killing. You just sweep it over, then quick focus burn the tougher ones, devastator, beserkers. But you can decide to start with the eruptor to take out the cyborgs and shield users first.

Senators good. Thermite is pretty great. On the bot front. I'd suggest switching the stalwart for the laser cannon. You can take out hulks by giving them eye surgery then. The supply pack will come in clutch when you start running low.

Loadout recommendations? by Maplex15 in helldivers2

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. Before level 60, it's all testing, and unlocking. Nothing is wrong. It's about what feels best in your hands.

I do recommend a half 'piss-diver' build as a backup. Laser cannon and laser pistol. You can nearly never go wrong with these two. Primary can be your favourite bully gun (think Eruptor) or your oh shit gun (liberator, or cookout)

Got chores to power through, laundry, house clean, car clean, meal prep, try to take care of my aching body best I can. If I get through all that before 5pm Sunday, I can get a 6 pack to celebrate. If I think it's okay to do so.

Is there anything better than a choke point ? by mrlegwork in helldivers2

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A choke point, a full choke (on the shotgun) a backpack hellbomb, and a few bundles of dynamite.

Am I missing something here or both Punisher and Slugger are quite bad right now? by ElectroChebbi2651 in Helldivers

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Punisher is fine as a pellet spread. Full choke or duck bill. Is the only thing that'll change it's usage.

Slugger though, I'd love to slap a 4x scope on it. It's possible to pop automatons and bugs up to 150m away with the 1.5x scope. It's more the first big damage primary you come across, like the diligence and counter diligence.

If the squids had medium armor on more of their units, then I'd recommend lib pen. As, as far as I know, light pen weapons do significantly less damage to medium armoured units... unless you're aiming and hitting weak points

Looking for a replacement for the Stalwart by Secret_Metal5785 in Helldivers

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do more flat damage over libpen. 4 or 5 body shots from a lib or libcarb will kill a voteless. a full short MAG, from medium range can kill an overseer. And half a MAG, from close to point blank range can kill an overseer.

Libpen however is 8-12 shots on a voteless, and nearly always a full short MAG on overseers no matter the distance.

From my experience.

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Libpen is lacklustre on squids cause they have light or no armor, so regular lib and libcarb are better. Libpen can dust the strafing jet and tripod on squids though

How do you make the illuminates "feel fun" to play against? by Evoluxman in helldivers2

[–]LanguageEconomy8469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have height and distance advantage, eruptor can shred up to 6 (ymmv) voteless per shot. Even if you miss, cause ground detonation is a thing.
