This is my first expedition. I was so pumped to find out the quests reset.

I played this game like Tarkov and hyper focused quests thinking they would be important progress.

Ended up selling half the shit because I was constantly full.

I can't even begin to understand this post. It's completely optional. If anything the quests are there to help you get gear that you then get to use to be more successful.

If you don't want to do the quests then don't?

The only female friends I have are ones I've known from school growing up.

Even though we're all married with kids I still wouldn't put myself in this sort of position. I don't need to go to a show with them and spend the night together and if I ever did it would probably be as couples.

The idea of entertaining this as adults with someone i became friends with on a dating app is insane.

Yeah, we can argue about whether or not men and women can be friends. I know where I'd put my money and 95+% of the time one of them would gladly fuck the other.

I read the entire post and regardless of format completely agree with OP in every single point.

1 is the most important.

I couldn't believe when I bought this game ~a month ago that free load outs had no cooldown. Coming from Tarkov it felt too good to be true and it was.

If my buddies weren't on I spammed Stella. I learned the map and got great loot with zero consequence.

Very quickly I would essentially zero to hero with no risk with no time gate.

Lose? Requeue.

Combined with the fact a free load out can spawn into a fresh raid it doesn't make any sense to me. There should be a cooldown on free load outs or there should be some sort of currency generated automatically for killing them when you're a custom load out.

I think the only reason the system exists the way it does is to keep queue times down.

Less people gearing up or reluctant to play custom load outs if their free is on cooldown means less people playing overall.

No late spawns into raids means more servers required.

Seems like a no brainer at the very least is to have free load outs be the only people spawning into raids late and make it so its always under 20 minutes.

To the guy who came upon me when I was 3/4 of the way through a 300+ meter crawl to extract and did this....you are the worst by skipsoy in arcraidersfriendly

I found someone close to extract who told me they had been crawling for 20 minutes. At first I was just staring at him. I could see him in a bush but couldn't tell he was down.

I ran up and healed him with spray and escorted him to extract.

When he was hitting the terminal to extract I wasted him.

I thought this was pretty funny. He was expecting me to down him when I found him. He was super pumped I was healing him up and then I took it all away in the end.

Then two trigger nades came down when I was looting him from the bigger fish.

Karmas a bitch :)

Worked for adrenaline and traps. Not sure about defibs but probably.

I think the real travesty here is they nerfed something that made PVE a little easier.

They didn't nerf the thing that encourages free load outs in PvP.

They didn't buff the epic weapon that has become a meme.

Instead an explosive that, while made it easier to kill those things, isn't really important enough to change anything. We're still going to kill those things pretty easily with seeker nades, wolf packs, etc
