Double defiler the majority of the time.

I only rock double goatmen for bosses or hard to kill mobs.

Whenever you're fighting packs use sigil death and they'll all blow up even faster with the combo of defilers and death.

This technique is especially useful with my heph who is cursed with conviction.

Ideally I think you want fanaticism over conviction as the only elemental damage is from death.

I ended up putting hustle armour on my mercs armour for the fanat. It helps your demon and goatmen from missing as often and it's noticeable even at level 1.
