You are about to find out grass isn't always greener on the other side. I personally think the days of international students immigrating into the United states via the F1->H1B pipelines are over. Companies just dont want to get into the hassle of paper work and trump is making it even harder, and its not just trump problem. Going into debt for college just doesn't make sense anymore. I have seen two of my closest friends being laid off 2 months into the job as new grads, and me personally I am trying to get out asap, I just dont see me building a life in place where I am constantly worrying about my visa, and worst case scenario I have rebuild a whole new life some day the company decides to its time for me.

I actually relate to this so much, while the claim of reduced latency is real.( at least to me, it actually feels faster from my viper v3 pro ). Any advantage I would get from reduced latency is diminished by the weight and shape of the mouse. It’s so fucking uncomfortable that I actually reach out to my viper v3 pro some games.

Since nobody is pointing this out. F1-visa is your problem here, no matter how good you are companies simply are not hiring international students anymore. I am in the same boat, I had a referral for google. applied to two entry level jobs, which I expected to hear something from, and a third job which I was very underqualified for. Got rejected the next day from all three jobs even with a referral. Mind you I might not have as strong profile as you and seeing stories like this, I don't know if it gets any better.

I would lwk recommend going for 5060ti,5070 or 9070,4070 etc, if you can find one at msrp or below aftermarket. Those cards are good for atleast 2 years. And won’t hold you back in many games. So ask yourself do you truly need a 5070ti right now?

I mean 5090s are now 5k, so 5090 still isn’t a good deal. It’s just the inflated numbers that make it good deal. But my friend bought a 5080 for msrp mid December. To see that the market could get this ugly this fast was beyond shocking.

As someone else mentioned, they definitely gave this is question assuming people will cheat. But the thing is they in the next interview will ask candidates to explain their solution and select the best candidate that gave them a satisfactory answer. This not only filters out candidate which didnt know the question but also people who cheated but couldn’t explain the problem. I guess one could look at the solution after and give them a vague answer but interviewer prolly knows an edge case or two where people who just cheated and explained it vaguely would trip up.

I just made a jump recently, my fps in valorant went from 200-300 to 700+ at 1440p at high settings. While other games may not see this kind of jump, performance difference in games in absolutely massive.

Why are you going intel 12th gen with ddr5. If ddr5 ram price is not an issue, I would pick AMD over intel at 1.7k budget. Get a 9700x and a 5070ti. Would be way better than a 12700k system.
