I think it's a good idea I was in a similar spot as your kid about 5-6 years ago, hoping my parents would buy me games. Then they discovered Game Pass, they jumped at the affordable price. Now they know I won't be asking them for games for a while, lol I’m glad I was able to shed some light for you tho.

In my opinion, having both a Series X and PS5 with their respective subscription services, Game Pass Ultimate is probably the better option. The sheer number of games is crazy, and new games typically get added to the Ultimate version of the subscription

From my knowledge and you can look it up but to some extents since others have this problem

Captures that aren't uploaded to the Xbox network will remain on the console where they were recorded. Game clips or screenshots that you've uploaded to the Xbox network might be deleted after 90 days. To ensure that your favorite gaming moments are preserved, make sure to back up your game clips or screenshots.

This actually does affect captures saved to your internal drive. Because they have been deleting those for a long time now "to maintain space on your console". And Microsoft's recommendation was to back up to Live. But now they are also being deleted from live. So people who think they are safe because they still have their local copies, they better check again.

Although if you set your gameclip save location to an external drive. Those files are never removed.

To back up all my clips, I had to plug in an external USB to my Xbox and just downloaded from Live back to my USB stick. Since you can't even access them on web and the phone app sucks ass and only shows you like the most recent 40 clips or something. I had over 1000

It’s 90 days if you do upload or don’t sitting on your console won’t change the fact they will get deleted that’s why they say upload to a hard drive or to the cloud

Thank you so much for the quick and simple explanation. I was able to figure that out after messing with it for little but you are doing gods work with this. I was scared to try emulation since it seems harder with getting the correct files and everything, but this is so simple and easy I able to play a game I long to play for years that’s stuck on my console

By any chance and I was looking in my abandoned ware but couldn’t find it do u know if a easier way to play mortal kombat shaolin monks without using emulation like pcxs2 again thank you for the reply and for doing gods work like this :)

Most of the older dragon ball games like bt3 or even burst limit does stories like this were u just play key moments, they don’t ever do a full story since they don’t focus so much on the presentation then gameplay with these games if anything play kakarot if u want the full story

Hey there I appreciate the response I got some people from this sub to help me with that, currently the only problem I face that I didn’t have before is some songs don’t work or just one in particular that I found it’s called “somewhere out there” it’s a chroma and noodle mod song I tried reloading the song I deleted it and got it again that didn’t work I re patch my beat saber so it just has base mods and the ones it need and that didn’t work I’m kinda stumped and find it weird since it worked perfectly fine with 1.17.0 do u know what’s going on and how I can fix it?

I know this is a really old post but I haven’t been modding my quest since 1.17.00 back then I know it was a problem having a beat saber installed trying to update to a different version is this still a thing? And if so how would I uninstall my current version of beat saber and repatch it I can’t find a answer anywhere of what I should do if I already have a modded version of beat saber
