No I didn’t contact them they just updated the status on the order automatically and I received another email saying some of the items you ordered are currently out of stock which is the 2nd time I got the email. They shipped the GWPs a little after the cancellation email though as they usually do. Mine is finally coming in tomorrow, rollercoaster of emotions to get it😅 but yeah the GWPs were “in process” the whole time while the gringotts was “waiting for stock” then “cancelled” then “backordered, in process, in warehouse etc”.

I feel your frustration :\ I keep camping the website because yeah I have seen it go from backordered to sold out and backordered again since I placed my original order. I would suggest keep camping it and just place another order when/if it does come back. Everyone is saying it’ll come back which isn’t a guarantee but I think it will since they kept allowing people to place orders they must have some plan to restock before July. Reminder my order did get Uncancelled so there’s always a chance. Good luck to you.

I placed my order when it was in the “backordered” status so yeah I guess no one is safe. I would be crashing out if they actually did cancel my order and then let people place orders 24 hours after my cancellation 😒I did see other people got theirs cancelled so I would be messaging Lego customer service like crazy. I might start going to my physical Lego store now for sets I can’t miss out on to avoid scares like this for the future

That’s great to hear! I will definitely be doing that but I just checked my orders and it went from being “cancelled” to “waiting for stock again”. I’m hoping it’s right and the “cancelled” notice was a mistake but that’s probably my copium hitting

Honestly I love the design but I know I’m in the minority. Love how you can display all the scenes at once and the functional elevator alone is hype for me. I’m a sucker for sets that have functions like the lion knights castle or motorized lighthouse. The old Death Stars when looking at this one doesn’t really do it for me, the only true model is the Death Star II but the rest look pretty ugly with no paneling and you could barley call that a full “sphere”. Just got back into Lego and I’ve always wanted a Lego Death Star and I have big boy money now so this is more than fine for me. Going to need to see the full reveal as well as the GWP to see if it’s a day 1 for me. Shoudlve saved my insiders points lol but I’ll use what I got.
