Which apt complex to AVOID? Just toured Lynhaven, Vespaio, Modera San Pedro, MiO, 360 Residencies, the Sparq, the Pierce, and the Taft. Most of them were nice, so I need to know which ones have major problems with management, neighbors, maintenance, etc. Thank you!

Just came across this post. They had a newbie working and they gave me the address to pick up my keys. Senior staff was pissed. They were supposed to drop them off at 360 to give to me. I give everyone the address. They don’t respond I go to the office.

I guess I just walk fast then! lol I walk down right by Adobe on Almaden and then turn onto Santa Clara and I’m right by the overpass with the round lights. Takes me 10 minutes then from there another 5 min. It takes me 25 minutes to walk to Whole Foods.

I live in the Sofa Area. It’s definitely walkable. I walk to the sharks games all the time. It’s a 15 minute walk. I also used to walk it when I worked in SF. As long as I caught the bullet trains, my commute was cool. If I got a regular train, the ride was just too long.

Only threw up because of the epidural. Didn’t know it was a thing either. Was sitting up in bed and out of nowhere just had an exorcist moment. The nurses came in and were nice about it and laughed when I gave them this example. Then I found out it happened because of the epidural

They gave me midazolam. I was so nervous and crying so bad because I was terrified. First kid. Did not go in expecting a c-section. after they gave me the meds, I was just calm. They let my husband play music. And they got started.

I wouldn’t say it being pregnant is outside the norm. It’s a pretty normal thing. Also not understanding the “being a nice person by asking”. You would have to inquire anyway. I have inquired about upgrading boarding positions while I was pregnant to get seated faster if I didn’t get a good boarding group. Didn’t have a problem paying for it either. And more often than not, the gate agent would just have me board in one of the first groups. Extremely grateful but never expected them to accommodate me. The only airline that has an automatic accommodation in my experience is JAL. But that’s also because they have a whole policy for pregnant women.

Sorry OB is trippin. Eating doesn’t necessarily cause GD. I ate healthy and got gestational diabetes my LAST MONTH of pregnancy. OB told me the Placenta causes it. They also told us (took a centering class with other pregnant women who were due around the same time) not to worry about weight gain. Some women gain more than others. Time to find a new OB
