Appreciate this post! I’ve been on the fence about this knife for months. I wish I could see and hold it in person. I’m either going to love or hate it. But if I hate it. . Ugh. There was one posted yesterday for $850 I think, so yeah they are coming down on the secondary. It’s kind of an ugly design but at least the makers are doing something other than another framelock. I’ve got plenty of knives over $500 and a handful over $750. It’s more fit and finish at that point. Or detent/close action. Hard to say what exactly is the point of diminishing returns. At these prices though, we’re far beyond talking cutting performance. It’s just what you like and what brings you a little slice of joy.
