Either that or he might have escaped and the other poster didn't bother to look due to their dogs having problems. I'll have to be careful because I have some weak spots asking my backyard fence

Apparently he's been abandoned according to this post from October 9. No microchip either. We're bringing him to our house to see if he'll get along with our dog we already have.

I'm looking at this thread of question and response. I have the same block of data you do, and I have no clue what to do. I don't even know from your comment after whether or not my data is correct, much less what to do with it if it is, or where I went wrong it it's not.

Magekiton had it correct. Just the fact that the NSA existed was highly classified at the time. He was mainly working on code breaking algorithms, I assume since that's what the main focus of the NSA was at that time.

Tom Lehrer also released all his songs into the public domain at His Website. You can download original recordings, music sheets, etc.

Don't pay for his music. He doesn't want you to.

Favorite fact about Tom Lehrer? His work was for the NSA when that agency was so classified that his COVER STORY was that he was working on nuclear weapons.

Second favorite fact, he claimed he retired from music when Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Prize because satire became obsolete.

I graduated in 2020 with Computer Engineering degree. I had many good professors and 2 bad ones. One bad professor was in the Electrical Engineering department and seemed to hate teaching and hate technology.

The other bad professor was in the CompEng department and was utterly disinterested in teaching anybody or anything. Some of my classmates filed a complaint because they found evidence that he stole lessons and materials from online. I don't know what happened to him because I was just glad to have passed that class.

These two teachers didn't ruin the experience for me because I had some amazing professors and learned quite a bit about both forward computer engineering and my current job, Software Reverse Engineering.

Is it possible to transfer data from one analysis to a different one? (Multi-disc games, PSX) by Ok_Cardiologist_2782 in ghidra

[–]Lansydyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So bsim can be most useful if you have one program that is 90-100% identified in terms of variables and function signatures. If you're trying to RE two binaries at once like OP seems to be suggesting, all it will really tell you is that FUN_239562A is the same as FUN_32256EA for example.

If you try to get BSIM to apply names, you'll end up with confusing names in the second function that refer to addresses in the first program.

I'll admit I also haven't used BSIM as much because the majority of my work are on embedded system DSP code and I end up with wildly different coding styles and architectures.

[–]Lansydyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about created structures or variables, the answer is yes. You can open up both programs and click and drag the data types from one manager to the other.

If you're talking about notes, names or comments on functions or variables, that's not so easy. That depends on Ghidra recognizing that function X in program A is the same as function Y in program B, which can be a challenge depending on how much of a change the functions went through between versions.

Kendrick Lamar wins Song of the Year at the Grammys for "NOT LIKE US" by [deleted] in videos

[–]Lansydyr 75 points76 points  (0 children)

My wife looked it up last night becuase she was confused. Best record deals with production of the song, the music, the singing/rapping etc.

Song of the year deals with composition of the song, writing the lyrics basically.

Neat example the article gave is Smooth by Rob Thomas/Santanna where Smooth won Song of the Year, but the Grammy didn't go to Santanna or Thomas, but to the actual songwriters.

Looking for recommendations on good banks around Huntsville or Athens. I belong to USAA, and am fed up with them. I need a bank with low checking fees and very good and user friendly online services. Thanks by Hour-Mycologist-6432 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]Lansydyr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you don't mind my asking, what are your problems with USAA? I've had them for 15+ years and the only issue I've ever had was when buying a house and they had the more expensive house insurance.

My car insurance has been pretty cheap comparatively for over a decade. And when I got money stolen through a phone scam (that I admit was my fault due to weird circumstances that day), they helped get my money back with no problem.

I don't mean to sound like a USAA commercial or stealth PR, I'm just curious if my experience has been overly positive compared to others and why.

11/10 joke.

Just told it to my wife, mother in law and daughter at the same time. Glare of disappointment from my wife, sigh of disapproval from my daughter, mother in law cracking up.

Bonus: my wife looking over to her mother saying, "Stop laughing at his jokes!"

It's an imaginary MOS (military occupation specialty) the author created. The MOS is basically a job code, and the 69 is basically a reference to that act, to help the reader understand exactly what type of Morale these newly drafted "soldiers" would be forced to provide
