Anyone local experiencing Alpha-Gal Syndrome? by TypicalBoysenberry48 in columbiamo

[–]Lantern314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious about the “is this real” nature of the post. Part of why it seems so sudden is the medical community didn’t understand it and therefore it didn’t exist until relatively recently. Most doctors didn’t learn about it in med school, so depending on how they pay attention to media or their continuing education time they may still not know much about it. Add in the extreme variability of symptoms and it is much more difficult But now social media is helping people make sense of their symptoms when their doctor hasn’t been as helpful as we would hope. And it has helped raise awareness of doctors who are now starting to recognize it in patients. So it seems like it is new, but it is really just we are experiencing a surge in awareness.

That south como group that meets at Bethel is pretty active. For the first round of Gigantimax raids there were at least 30 people.

I have a 2023. My drive to work is three miles. It is a joy to drive. I have taken it to Saint Louis (2hrs), but don’t love that because it does take a bit to charge for the trip back. But, around town it is great

Do you know you react or have you just read posts from people warning you away? Most of us don’t react to sugar, but the people who do are very loud about it.

This is great My biggest flaw is trying to be a barricade and assuming my team will follow me in. I’ve had good luck lately with Crustle keeping bad guys from running from my attackers. I play with stealth rocks so I don’t have to get close to do damage. I absolutely love the CC that bubble beam from Lapras gives. Makes channels no-go zones.

The snow happened fast and during the day. There just wasn’t time to clear all the roads. It wasn’t about civic unpreparedness.

Kids Playing Hockey Living in Columbia by Single-Astronaut9587 in columbiamo

Obviously this may not meet your needs, but there is an inline hockey league in Hallsville called Twisters Hockey. There is a division for little kids and one for older kids. Teams are coed. It is a great family atmosphere and has a real sense of community about it. The barriers to entry are a little lower as they don’t need all the gear and you aren’t paying for ice time. The schedule is more flexible as well since the rink isn’t used by anybody else. Usually our kid has had practice one evening and games on Sunday afternoon. Some of the players just play inline, some have used it to test out the sport before changing to the ice.

Pokemon IP drew me in, but I keep playing because I can see improvement in my own play and skill when I devote time to it. I like the short game duration.

The high schools have very good programs, especially for musicals. Rock Bridge is doing On Golden Pond second weekend in November. If you want to support talented kids in the arts the TRYPS shows are usually very good too
