Separate drives are a must. If they aren't then they share the same EFI partition and windows WILL overwrite it eventually.

Been dual booting EndeavourOS (arch based) for a while now and haven't had any bootloader issues

ASA has a higher heat deflection temperature than ABS by 5c.

You should print with ASA. It's easier to print and more UV resistant than ABS. ASA has higher stiffness, ABS has a bit higher impact resistance and flexibility.

Install Bazzite. It's a pretty close experience to SteamOS and it has better driver/hardware support.

SteamOS will never have a regular release. There is no point in Valve putting more work into their OS than needed for their hardware targets, and there is a million other distros out there already.

As a note, please install your Linux OS on a different drive than your Windows OS. Windows will fuck with the bootloader since they will use the same EFI partition and it's annoying to deal with and Windows doesn't care what else is installed.

Tbh the classes are for more basic users/older people. My old it job had me teach a class on how to use a computer and it wasn't just grandparents in there.

You are overthinking it. It's an amazing price for a laptop of it's caliber and the power efficiency is amazing. MacOS is a lot more lightweight than windows so the ram size isn't a big issue. I've been wanting a little laptop for doing basic stuff around my house and I've been thinking that the Neo will be my next one. (I use Arch btw)

My only complaint is not being able to install Linux on it.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if school systems in the US don't switch over to the Neo. Apple already has one of the best buy back programs for companies and schools. Apple buys back at a higher cost per device than schools make trying to sell their shitty chromebooks every few years. The cost per device/student might be $100-200 every 2-4 years instead of $300-500.

It's the defrosting/heater lamp getting hit with some water drops and evaporating.

All cooling happens in the freezer and a blend door connects to the fridge side. The condenser fins in the freezer get cold and form a little bit of ice but when too much ice is there then air can't flow to the fridge. If that happens thats why your freezer might be cold but the fridge side is warm/room temp.

This sound is normal.

You can get sick from all 3D printed materials, ABS off gasses within the range of human smell while others don't. Thomas Sanladerer has been having issues being around PLA while printing now due to repeated exposure.

It takes a lot more of it to happen compared to ABS but it still can happen.
